Wreath workshops are back at Blackpit Brewery! 🌿

I’m so excited to be joining Blackpit Brewery again on Saturday 28th November, where I’ll be hosting my festive wreath-making workshops in the gorgeous courtyard studio. With seasonal foliage, berries and natural treasures to create your very own unique Christmas wreath. No experience needed — just bring your festive spirit! ✨

You can also expect local traders, live music, carol singers, delicious street food and plenty of festive treats on offer from their Christmas Market!

Well I thought if I say it quickly, you’ll forgive me but yes it’s the “C” word and our popular Christmas wreath workshops are once again available to book online. Thank you to all you wonderful people that have already booked, some you started in August! We have some spaces left at our smaller workshops in the studio and are once again delighted to be back at Blackpit Brewery for our larger groups in their gorgeous studio - more information to follow 👍🏼

Autumn 🍂

Whether you follow the meteorological or astronomical calendar to define the start of the season, we are somewhere between the 2 so I think a little autumn inspiration is called for.

We are seeing a gradual farewell to the summer but we also get to embrace the slower, calmer months where the pace seems to slow a little. For me there is something utterly delicious about working with the richer colours and textures, harnessing all those beautiful seed heads Mother Nature bestows on us and enjoying the season for what it does best.

We have some wonderful autumn courses coming up to inspire you and I can’t wait to share more. Do you fancy pressing pause for a short while, taking time out for yourself and immersing yourself in some creative downtime? If so, I am sure we all need a little more mindfulness in our busy lives, then we have just the tonic - I will be back with more details soon,

…… and so we’re back after a lovely long break and what a joyful, hopeful time of year it is. Like hedgehogs emerging from hibernation, we are super excited to have finished spring cleaning the studio in preparation for our first wedding of the year. In the meantime here is my little spring offering starring some of my absolute favourites, including ranunculus, butterfly ranunculus and viburnum roseum. Oh and the last of the tulips and a sprinkling of honesty from the garden.

It’s honestly so wonderful to be back doing what we love. Working in a seasonal industry has its upsides and allows you some time to breathe, take stock, re-energise and reflect on what really inspires you. I could’t ever imagine not wanting to stay creative and keep growing.
