Just finished a bathroom. New ceiling light and flooring will come next to finish off the room. The previous decoration was quite poor. Preperation revealed lots of old flaking paint on the ceiling and walls so plenty of scraping, sanding, peel stop, filler etc. Dustless sanding helps enourmously to keep mess to a minimum. Once all fully prepped the walls and ceiling were treated to Zinsser Perma White Matt for a nice fresh finish. Woodwork including the original sash windows were finished with Dulux Heritage True White Eggshell. A little wallpaper stops it from looking too clinical. Overall it's completely revitalised with a nice Briwax finish on the door and the original doorlock getting a little make over. Happy to provide free quotes and have availability from mid May 2026.

This was a hall, stairs and landing I did last year in our own house. We had scaffolding upstairs to allow the plasterer to reach the high stairwell safely. I also used the scaffolding to decorate making the job far easier and a lot safer. Richard Lannon the plasterer did another great job for us here. We also had a small portion of wall removed in the hallway downstairs then it was over to me to get it decorated. I used Dulux Heritage True White emulsion for the walls and Heritage True White eggshell for the woodwork. The understairs cupboard, spindles and handrail was Heritage Ravens Flight eggshell.

This was a neighbours rental property that I was asked to freshen up prior to it going up for sale. It certainly looked clean and inviting after a couple of coats of paint.
It wasn't on the market for too long before being sold.

This was a customers hallway and wc I revitalised prior to them putting their flat on the market. A happy customer and they sold the flat in no time.

I decorated the lounge once the freshly skimmed walls were perfectly dry. We found a great plasterer - RL Plastering - who suggested a mesh over any walls or ceiling that were lath and plaster as it will prevent ugly cracks appearing. We played safe colour wise in this room so after a mist coat I finished the walls with Dulux Heritage True White emulsion and the woodwork with Dulux Heritage True White Eggshell. Just need a few more pics etc to finish it off and make it a bit more cosy but that is Sarahs department. All the woodwork had the paint removed with a hot air gun as there were quit a few layers of old paint and it wasn't in great condition. It's not a quick process but well worth it for the end result.

Here are a few pictures of our porch. Just wanted it to look inviting to guests and delivery drivers (who seem to be the main visitors).
This was a very straightforward space to decorate compared to other rooms.

We moved to our house in Paignton early May 2024. We have had the hallway and some rooms skimmed as it's an old house and we wanted smooth walls. We had to have a new kitchen fitted which was not part of the plan! We had a small portion of wall removed in the hallway but essentially it is just to be decorated top to bottom (even though I haven't done it in that order!) and I have just finished all the downstairs rooms and hallway. I will be putting more pictures up showing what we have done.
