Honouring a remarkable family history.

The history of J. Wagstaff Funeral Directors is closely connected with the history of Peacehaven itself, and every generation has played a part in shaping the family business.

During the Second World War, Jack Wagstaff served in the RAF alongside his best man, Ray. Both men narrowly avoided tragedy after missing the first ship to Canada, which was later lost at sea. It was a moment that changed the course of their lives and, ultimately, the future of the Wagstaff family.

Today, we continue to honour that legacy by serving our community with the same dedication, compassion, and commitment that has been passed down through generations.
