New Install 🔥

Absolutely stunning new install completed this week by our team.

Our team knocked out our customers chamber, creating a large opening and fully brick slipped the interior. They lay a lovely new black granite hearth, cut to fit on site. They then fully lined the chimney with new stainless steel solid fuel liner and new cowl.

They then installed the absolutely beautiful Little Thurlow stove with brass fixings. A 5KW ECO stove with buckets of charm and character, as well as providing excellent heat and efficient burning. British engineering of the highest standard.

Everything was then finished off by our team installing a stone surround that the client sourced.

We think that the end result is just gorgeous and has a real wow factor, creating a beautiful focal point for our clients home.

We are a one stop shop! We provide:
✅ HETAS certified stove installation.
✅ Any and all building work as is required.
✅Bespoke fireplace design.
✅ Hearth laying.
✅ Plastering and tiling.
✅ Surround or beam installation.

Come and chat to us about your future log burner at our showroom, located in the heart of Penrith. We are open Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturday mornings 9-1.

Byre x Esse

We at The Fire Place Cumbria were so honoured to be hosted by our fantastic stove partners ESSE to attend a very special dining experience at

And what a way to begin, opening out onto a stunning vista with the Esse Garden stove in pride of place. The utter tranquility of the setting, the thoughtful and intuitive wood fire cooking from Liz, made for such a beautiful moment, we couldn’t help but sit in awe and drink it all in.

If you’d like to make an Esse garden cook stove a reality for your home, visit us in our showroom in Penrith or email us at [email protected].

The view however, I’m afraid is not included. For that, you will have to visit the beautiful Byre.
