🛏️ Did you know we sell beds?!

You'd be surprised how often we hear the words, "Oh, I didn't know you sold beds!" when customers discover our bed showroom upstairs at The Arches.

Yes, we're well known for our carpets and flooring, but there's a whole other side to The Arches that we'd love more people to know about!

So, throughout November, we've decided to shine a spotlight on our beds and mattresses, show you a little more of what we've got upstairs and share some helpful advice on choosing the right bed for a great night's sleep.

And with Christmas just around the corner, it's the perfect time to think about getting that spare bedroom ready for visiting family and friends. 🎄

🎁 To celebrate, throughout November we're giving away a FREE mattress topper and pillows with every bed purchase!

Whether you're looking for a new bed for yourself or somewhere comfortable for your Christmas guests, pop upstairs next time you're in The Arches and have a look around.

🎃 Flooring horrors this Halloween…

Uneven joins.
Carpet that doesn’t quite reach the skirting board.
Lumps and bumps underfoot.
Patterns that don’t line up.
And the scariest of them all… a badly fitted staircase. 👻😱

Okay, we admit it, we're stretching the Halloween theme a little here. 😂

But a poor fitting really can turn your lovely new flooring into something of a nightmare.

At The Arches, our experienced fitting team take care of the tricky bits – from awkward corners and winding staircases to neat joins and finishing touches – so the end result looks exactly as it should.

Because the only thing you should be frightened of this Halloween is what's knocking at the door. 🎃

The clocks are changing… is your bedroom ready for cosy season? 🛏️

There’s something about the darker evenings that makes us all want to make home that little bit cosier. If your mattress has seen better days, October is a pretty good time to think about replacing it. After all, we spend around a third of our lives in bed!

Pop into The Arches and try our range of beds and mattresses for yourself. No pressure, no guessing from a picture online – just plenty of time to find what feels right for you.

There's a lot more to The Arches than carpet...

Yes, carpet is a pretty big part of what we do, but take a wander around our Penrith showroom and you'll find plenty more.

From vinyl and LVT flooring to beds and mattresses, we can help with everything from a quick bedroom refresh to flooring an entire house.

And because we're an independent local business, you'll get advice from real people who'll take the time to find out what you actually need.

Come in, have a browse and say hello 👋

Don't forget the underlay!

It might be the bit you never see once your carpet has been fitted, but choosing the right underlay can make a real difference.

Good underlay can help your carpet feel better underfoot, provide extra insulation and help prolong the life of your carpet.

So when you're budgeting for new carpet, don't just think about the colour and price per square metre – what's underneath matters too.

Not sure what you need? That's exactly what we're here for.

📍 Pop into The Arches and we'll talk you through the options.
