🔥 𝗡𝗘𝗪 𝗔𝗥𝗥𝗜𝗩𝗔𝗟 – 𝗕𝗜𝗢𝗘𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗢𝗟 𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗩𝗘! 🔥
Not everyone can have a traditional woodburning stove, and not everyone is a fan of electric alternatives. So, if you're looking for something a little different, we think we've found a rather lovely option!

We've been keeping a close eye on bioethanol stoves for some time. We've got access to some fabulous larger models, but they often come with a hefty price tag. On the other hand, we've found the build quality and flame effect of many of the smaller, more affordable models a little disappointing.

Until now! This Ecoflame Bio Ethanol stove really does tick the boxes for us. We love the look, the build quality and, most importantly, that lovely real flame.

So, what's the appeal of bioethanol?

🔥 No chimney or flue required
🔥 A real, live flame
🔥 Clean-burning with no ash or soot
🔥 Low maintenance
🔥 An alternative way to enjoy the ambience of a fire

And the best bit? You can come and see it for yourself!

Our new bioethanol stove is now in the showroom at Weston-under-Penyard, and we'd love you to pop in and have a look.

Apologies for the less-than-Hollywood video production skills! 😂 The stove looks much better in real life, we promise!

Come and see what you think!

Recoheat is safe, simple and clean – and it retrofits to most existing flues with minimal disruption.

POWER CUT!!
We've got a power cut, which means our phones and Internet are down I'm sorry. The dogs are taking it well though 🥰, and we're boiling the kettle on a stove - so the showroom is still open (card machine won't work unfortunately), and it is a bit dark in here! If you need a warm or a cup of tea, pop in - couldn't be a better advert for the benefits of 'off grid' living 😉 (with apologies for the inconvenience)

🔥 𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐀 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐔𝐋𝐓!🔥
“From the first email exchange through to the completed installation, I have been thoroughly impressed with Green Man Stoves. Communication throughout was excellent — emails were responded to promptly, questions were answered fully, and I was kept updated at every stage. The staff are knowledgeable, polite and respectful, and at no point did I feel any pressure to make a decision. Information was provided, questions were welcomed, and the choice was entirely mine. Punctuality was exemplary — if they said they would be there on a particular day, they were. The installation itself was carried out professionally and tidily, with a thorough clean-up on completion. I felt entirely comfortable having the team in my home throughout. The finished result has exceeded my expectations, and I am absolutely delighted with it. I would not hesitate to recommend Green Man Stoves — a genuinely professional company that takes real pride in what they do”

This is a fairly typical transformation for us – we tend to get used to dramatic changes, which makes our customer’s response a great reminder of how precious our homes are and how important the level of our service is.

How pleased are we with ourselves! 🔥😍

Book your sweep now to keep it running safely and efficiently.
The nights aren’t drawing in just yet, but this is exactly when the organised stove owner gets ahead.

In a few weeks’ time, everyone remembers their wood burner at once, and chimney sweeps get booked up fast. Sort it now and you’ll be ready for that first proper fire, without the wait.

With energy prices as unpredictable as they’ve been, we’re expecting plenty of people will be leaning on their stove again this winter. If yours is going to be doing some of the heavy lifting, it’s worth having it swept and serviced so it runs safely and efficiently from the very first light.

A well maintained stove burns cleaner, draws better and gives out more heat from the same wood, which is exactly what you want to get real value from every log. A well swept chimney also gives you the peace of mind that you’re doing everything you can to keep your home and family safe from chimney fire.

We’ve written a bit about energy costs and where a stove fits in 👉

Our full stove service and chimney sweep is £90 inc VAT and includes a HETAS certificate on the condition of your stove and chimney.

🔥 IT’S CHIMNEY FIRE SAFETY WEEK! 🔥

With stove season just around the corner, now’s a good time to make sure your chimney and stove are ready. 🪵

🧹 Get your chimney swept regularly — ideally twice a year if you burn wood.

Regular sweeping helps prevent a build-up of soot and tar, which can increase the risk of a chimney fire. 🚨

🪵 Always burn dry, seasoned wood — it burns cleaner and helps reduce deposits in your chimney.

🌙 Don’t slumber your stove overnight.
Running a stove on a very low setting for long periods can lead to incomplete combustion and increased soot and tar deposits.

A few simple things can make a big difference to keeping your stove and chimney safe. 👍🔥

Stay safe and enjoy your stove this winter!
