UPDATE: NOW SOLD

For those interested in local history, especially of Higham Ferrers, we are offering a lovely original watercolour painting of the Chown's Mill. Not too sure of the precise date, but from the lovely period metal frame it's certainly early twentieth century. Painted by an A. Mantle, which we know is a surname closely associated with Higham Ferrers. I'm sure this will be popular at the £55 it's offered for, so don't leave it too long if you're interested.

You may have dreamed of owning a Ducati (I know I used to), but never managed to get one. Well now you can here at the Emporium for just £4 👀☺️. A little smaller than the real thing, but these little models are great, and also make a nice little stocking filler for anyone who likes bikes. There are lots of other bike, car & plane models. We're open 11am to 4pm on Sundays and 10am to 5pm Thursday to Saturday.

On Monday morning I've been asked by BBC Radio Northampton to appear on their Breakfast programme's Desert Island Dishes feature.

They focus on a different area/theme each week, and all next week (week beginning 22nd Sept) they’re shining the light on Second Hand September, and speaking to vintage/preloved/retro businesses in the county, to find out more about them, as well as finding out about their dream 2-course meal as part of the feature.

So if you're a radio listener (or just curious as to what I might have to say or would choose to eat), please consider tuning in. I'd appreciate your support and comments. I should be on around 09:40... It's live so I better be on my best behaviour. Obviously I'll be plugging Unity House Emporium, but hopefully might get to mention my other endeavours with Soul Tribe and my band DarkPool too.
