When you get up in the morning and see Mum in the garden! she's fed the cubs , but clearly hungry for something for herself and feeling very tired..... how could i refuse! Chicken, peanut sandwiches, and eggs at the ready! 😊🦊 have a great Tuesday beautiful people ❤️

Fox took a picnic hamper
With some of his favourite food
Hard boiled eggs and chicken pie
Boy, that sure looked good
He took along a blanket
To place upon the ground
And a flagon of pink lemonade
That in his cupboards he had found
He walked along past rolling hills
Till he came upon a tree
It's leaves looked lush and shady
Fox thought, that'll do for me !
He spread the blanket on the grass
And rested for a while
A Robin perched upon his knee
And that made the Fox smile
The breeze was blowing gently
As the Fox closed his eyes
He thought, I'll just have forty winks
Then I'll have that chicken pie !
A day out in the countryside
Is good for heart and soul
Take stock ,and you may be surprised
Cause it stops you feeling old !

When I went grocery shopping, they had so many reduced whole chickens, so I bought each Vixen one each... excuse the dreadful images, but they ran off so quickly with their gifts, they were gone in a flash! 😆🦊🦊 I also bought a pack of thighs, so I can safely say each cub should be well catered for this weekend.

Wander down the hill with me
Towards the rolling fields of green
The view this stroll affords us
May be the best that I have seen
Cosy , familiar cottages
Line the route we take
A black cat watches beady eyed
For his stomachs sake !
My old dog ambles gently
He knows how to keep pace
He understands we humans
Aren't in training for a race !
This peaceful scene unfolding
Is often brought to mind
For here there is tranquility
That's sometimes hard to find
