On Tuesday 30 June, 1030-1230, we are delighted to be hosting An Abstract Floral Garden workshop, another NEW class for 2026, brought to us by Laura Kent of Flourish Events.

This workshop will entail lots of play with acrylic paints to find a floral garden style scene. We will be exploring texture and different brush strokes to make shapes in various ways. We will be paint splattering and using wet paint techmiques too.

You will have time to paint a 30x30cm canvas with some trial pieces/paper first.

Please wear old cloths as paint can splatter. You will receive an apron and all paint supplies are included – no need to bring anything.

The cost of the class is £35 per person. All materials, tuition and refreshments – including home made cake! – will be included.

No artistic experience is necessary; this class is suitable for those who are beginners or no painting experience. The wave outline will be traced onto the canvas to assist your piece.

Vase & Canvas Acrylic Paint Pouring is a fabulously fun and creative class, giving you a matching stylish vase and canvas to show off in your home!
Crafting should be fun and if there’s one craft that ticks all the boxes for being enjoyable, satisfying, creative and lots of fun, it’s acrylic paint pouring. Not only are the results incredible, acrylic paint pouring is an idea beginner’s craft. You don’t need any prior experience of doing other crafts, and even though it uses paints, you don’t need to have tried acrylic painting before.

Best of all, there are no mistakes in acrylic paint pouring – whatever design you make, it will truly be a unique piece of art for your home. Fancy giving it a go?

Pouring over a vase onto a canvas involves creating a fluid art piece by pouring acrylic paint, mixed with a pouring medium, onto a vase and then transferring the excess paint onto a canvas. This results in a unique, abstract design, in your own choice of colours.

As this is a fun but slightly messy class, we provide aprons – please don’t wear your Sunday Best!

No previous experience is necessary. All tuition, materials and refreshments will be provided.

The cost per place on this class is £70.00. Upon booking, you will pay a deposit of £23.50, with the remaining £46.50 being payable on the day.

Please note that your work will need at least 48 hours to dry. We will contact you when it is ready for collection.

Encaustic Art is a fascinating way of creating art even if you have never painted before. Who knows what will appear on your piece of waxed card when you apply pigments and hot wax?
Join us as we learn 3 different techniques of Encaustic Art to create fabulous landscapes and abstracts. No previous experience is necessary.

All tuition, materials and refreshments will be provided. You will go home with at least 3, possibly 4, pieces of art.
