There’s something so comforting about coming home on a dark evening, putting your feet up and enjoying a little cosy lighting. 🤍

Our beautiful LED ceramic houses are just perfect for creating that warm, welcoming feeling.

Style them on a mantelpiece, windowsill, console table or nestled amongst some seasonal greenery. They look gorgeous individually, but even more magical grouped together in different sizes. ✨

A beautiful little addition to your own home, or a thoughtful gift for someone special.

A little bit of America, a lovely memory of Heather and a special delivery! 🤍

Whenever Heather and I visited America, we loved browsing Kirkland’s home accessories store. Not only were the products beautiful, but the shop smelled absolutely amazing!

We always brought home their gorgeous fragrance sachets. They lasted for ages and made our homes smell wonderful.

Imagine my surprise when I discovered a UK supplier selling them at the Autumn Home Show! I hesitated over the price, but after bringing some back from America in August, I decided to include them in Heather’s Home.

Well, they flew out! Customers loved them, and someone even asked about Christmas fragrances. So I placed an order, and today they arrived! 🎄

My first instinct was to pick up the phone and tell Heather. I could almost hear her excitement. Then came that heartbreaking moment of remembering she’s no longer here to call. 💔

Grief catches you at the strangest moments, doesn’t it?

But I know she’d have loved seeing something we discovered together become part of Heather’s Home. 🤍

So our gorgeous American fragrance sachets are back, including some beautiful Christmas scents!

Pop in and have a look. They really are gorgeous, and the fragrance lasts for ages!

🌿 A little update from Heather’s Home! 🤍

As we’re still finding our feet and settling into a routine, I thought I’d share a little information about when you can pop in and see us.

The lovely showroom at Leonard Flooring is open from 9am–5pm for browsing, and I’ll usually be there between 10am–2pm most days, including some Saturdays.

These times may vary a little, particularly during school holidays when I’m juggling family life! 🥰

But please don’t let that put you off visiting!

If I’m not there, the lovely flooring team may sometimes be able to help with purchases, or you’re always welcome to drop me a message and I’ll happily arrange to meet you.

🚗 And don’t forget, we offer FREE local delivery!

If you spot something you love, simply message me a photo and I’ll do my very best to get it to you the same day. You can even pay by card on delivery!

I’m always happy to help wherever I can. 💕

Thank you so much for all the incredible support since our launch. Every visit, message, share and purchase means more than you know.

A heartfelt thank you from Heather’s Home 🌿

What an incredible few days it has been! 💕

I’ve been completely overwhelmed by the love, kindness and support shown to Heather’s Home since our launch.
To every customer who came along, every friend and family member who helped make it happen, and everyone who has liked, commented on or shared our posts — thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I also want to give a very special thank you to some incredibly kind-hearted people who have generously given their time, knowledge and talents to help me with my website, social media and everything that goes on behind the scenes.

Some of these wonderful people have helped simply because they believe in what I’m trying to achieve and the cause so close to my heart. Their generosity has genuinely touched me. It’s a lovely reminder that there are some truly wonderful people in this world. ❤️
One of the most moving parts of this journey has been hearing your stories. From those who knew and loved Heather to those who have shared their own experiences of cancer, including some wonderfully positive outcomes. Every conversation has meant so much to me.

I’m also absolutely delighted to share that, thanks to your generosity, we raised over £300 for Cancer Connections through donations for our homemade treats and refreshments! 💕

🎶 A little special request…

As you watch this video, please turn up your sound and listen to the song playing in the background.

It’s a very special song I created in memory of Heather, celebrating her life, her wonderful personality and the beautiful friendship we shared.

Heather is the reason behind all of this, and I wanted her spirit to be part of our journey. I hope you’ll take a moment to listen. It means the world to me. ❤️

🏡 Visiting hours to follow as my post is too long 😅With love and heartfelt thanks, Deb 💕

A little introduction to Heather’s Home 🤍

I thought it was about time I introduced myself properly and shared a little about Heather, the wonderful lady behind the name.

Heather’s Home is about so much more than beautiful home accessories. It’s about friendship, lovely memories, raising awareness and hopefully doing a little good along the way.

I’m not particularly used to being in front of the camera, but I wanted you to hear a little of our story from me.

With our launch tomorrow, I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who has qfollowed, shared, encouraged and supported this little venture so far. It really does mean a lot.

I hope you enjoy getting to know a little more about us.

Deb 🤍

A little sneak peek at Heather’s Home… 🤍

We’re getting everything ready for Thursday’s launch, and I can’t wait to welcome you all!

I’ve also been busy in the kitchen preparing some extra special treats for our early visitors, including homemade Gideon’s Bakehouse-inspired cookies, chocolate brownies, pretty cupcakes, Victoria sandwich cake and a few other goodies.

All lovingly made, and available to enjoy in return for a donation to Cancer Connections. 💗

As much as I’m excited to finally open Heather’s Home, what matters most to me is raising as much money as we possibly can for this wonderful local charity, in memory of my beautiful friend Heather.

So please pop along, have a browse, enjoy a little treat and help us support a cause that’s so close to my heart.

👻 A Little Late to the Party… 🤍

Well, these little beauties have arrived fashionably late to the Halloween party!

Our wholesaler has only just received them, and we couldn’t resist adding them to our collection.

If you love the understated, elegant Halloween look, these gorgeous little ghosts are just perfect.

Think Pottery Barn style, without the Pottery Barn price tag!

🤍 Small ghosts – £7 each

🤍 Large ghosts – £10 each

Perfect for styling a shelf, console table or cosy autumn corner. A little bit spooky, but still beautifully stylish!

Available at Heather’s Home, inside Leonard Flooring, Simonside.

Just in time for our launch on Thursday 22nd October, 12–6pm.

It’s all in the little details… 🌿🤍

Another little job ticked off the launch preparations today!

There’s something really special about seeing Heather’s Home come together, one little detail at a time.

Not long now until we open our doors on Thursday 22nd October, 12–6pm, at Leonard Flooring, Simonside.

🌸 IT’S OFFICIAL… HEATHER’S HOME IS OPENING! 🌸

I’m so excited (and a little emotional!) to finally invite you all to the launch of Heather’s Home. 💗

What started as a little idea inspired by my beautiful best friend Heather, and our shared love of all things home, is finally becoming a reality.

And I couldn’t think of a more meaningful time to open than during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

📅 Thursday 22nd October
🕛 12pm – 6pm
📍 Leonard Flooring

We’re making it more than just a shop opening. I’d love it to be a lovely, relaxed afternoon where people can pop in, have a cuppa, enjoy some home-baked treats, browse our beautiful home accessories and, most importantly, enjoy a good chat!

☕ Drinks and homemade treats will be available in exchange for a donation to Cancer Connections, a charity very close to our hearts.

🌿 And as a little thank you, everyone who comes along will receive a FREE fragrance card, scented with lemongrass, Heather’s favourite home fragrance.

There’s absolutely no pressure to buy anything. Whether you come to shop, support our little business, remember someone special or simply enjoy some company, you’ll be made very welcome.

I’d love to see as many familiar faces as possible, and hopefully meet some new ones too!

Please share, tag a friend and help us spread the word. 💕

Here’s to beautiful homes, beautiful friendships and keeping beautiful memories alive.
