Sausage stew...
Made with fresh homegrown tomatoes and courgettes....
Lidl GB fennel sausage....
Add a few extra veggies,a teaspoon of fennel seeds
give it twenty minutes on the hob and eat.
I've got leftover sauce which will be turned into a pasta sauce .
Yum.

Aw,it caught on the top, but that really doesn't bother me.
This is aTessa Kiros recipe from a lovely book ,Apples for Jam.
Courgettes,lemon, cinnamon, vanilla and nutmeg to name a few of the ingredients.
I fiddled with it slightly,adding my dried lemon.
Smells devine...x

Nduja...pork, fat and chilli...
I love this so much, a sausage made from cuts of fatty pork and hot Calabrian chillies.
The sausage itself is very soft making it spreadable on bread ( yum) or as I've done tonight,turned into a delicious pasta sauce.
All I did was cook some chopped onions,celery,peppers and mushrooms in olive oil.
Once the vegetables were almost cooked I added the sausage ,breaking it into small pieces.
Cook for about five minutes then add a can or two of tomatoes.
Cook for about 30 minutes.
Serve however you like, I served with pasta .

Pizza night...whenever I make a pizza, I double up on the dough, top one of them for now, and half bake a second,adding only the tomato sauce.

Eat the first 🍕 pizza and once cooled freeze the second half baked base for a future meal.
When required, defrost and top as you wish.
Finish off in the oven till completely cooked.
