Charity shop bargains and some nice vegetables and meat from E Flett Butcher and
not sweating in plastic’s like supermarket rubbish…
Shop local and support local.
Admittedly its more expensive and time consuming but depends on what price you put on better health and supporting community..!

Started this loaf first thing this morning but Kept forgetting about it! Keep remembering and beat air out then forget again!
Just out of oven ready for morning. Did some flat breads as well that I’ve been grazing on throughout day with various combinations of what i could find in cupboards.
Didn’t fancy venturing out in the winds and Not using co-op anymore means going up street and battling the 50+ mph gales head on!
Make do with what you got sometimes !

Follow up to routing with jig.
Jig repaired!
Pictures explain easier than me.
The lighter ones are to be kits to paint and build for youngsters.
Dark ones for incense sticks or just storing things…

Home made bread and local jam all the way from Shapinsay! Very good!

Shopping in the small independent shops is far more pleasant, sociable and all round friendly rather than the supermarkets!
Sensory autism and supermarkets doesn’t mix for me!

Routing using jigs.. this jig needs a repair/basically some filler as theres a bit where the cutter on a separate workpiece took a lump out so the bearing that follows the jig drops in and takes more than you want from workpiece.
I’ll do another post with pictures showing what i mean.
The better the jig makes less work finishing individual pieces.
