I really need to remind myself how much I LOVE attending trade shows! 🤎

A little trip down to London for was exactly the reminder I needed of why I love what I do.

There’s something so lovely about being surrounded by people who are just as obsessed with interiors as you are. Getting to see beautiful new products, discover new brands and chat to other people in the industry who will happily gush over fabrics, finishes and all the little details with you. 🫶🏼

It’s so easy to get caught up in the day-to-day running of a business that you forget to make time for the fun, inspiring bits!

It’s a cosy one this week! 🍂🤎

Who else is hunkering down while Storm Ashley/Babet (or whatever storm we’re on now) causes absolute havoc outside? 🙋🏻‍♀️

This week’s Sunday Saves are all about those cosy little touches that make you want to stay indoors, get comfy and not leave the house until spring.

Things I have very strong opinions about as an interior designer 👀

Now, design is completely subjective and what works for one home won’t work for another.

BUT that doesn’t mean I don’t have my favourites (and a few pet hates).

A little calm amongst the chaos 🤎

A soft, calming palette for this lovely couple who wanted somewhere to truly switch off and unwind after their busy working days.

We really leaned into less is more with this home. The clients love a minimal, uncluttered space, so every piece was carefully considered to make sure it had its place and purpose.

Warm neutrals, natural materials and subtle textures bring interest without making the space feel busy.

The clients also want to take their time collecting artwork they genuinely love, rather than filling the walls just for the sake of it. And I LOVE that approach. A home doesn’t need to be completely finished overnight.

Sometimes knowing when to stop adding is just as important as knowing what to put in.

We’re hoping to have this project photographed later this year, and I can’t wait to share more of it with you! 🫶🏼

I seriously CAN’T get over these!! 💡

A huge thank you to Steven from for taking the time to show us their beautiful new kinetic light switches at 2026.

Safe to say I was a little obsessed… I spent the rest of the day telling everyone they HAD to go and see them 🤣

It’s the little details like this that get me so excited about interior design. Something as simple as a light switch can be both beautiful and clever.

Definitely one of my favourite finds from Decorex this year! 🤎

The joy of having a home you genuinely want to spend time in and look forward to coming home to is something I never want to take for granted. 🤎

Decorating your home should be FUN. Don’t take it too seriously. Experiment. Buy the weird thing you love. Try something, hate it, change it, try again.

And then, when you get sick of trying and failing… you can hire me 🤣

But seriously, good design doesn’t need to cost the earth and your home doesn’t need to look like anyone else’s.

It just needs to feel right for you 🤎

Choosing flooring is one of those decisions that shapes how a whole room looks, feels and lasts. 🏡

My rule: start with how you actually live in the space, then pick the floor. High traffic? Kids and pets? How hardwearing does it need to be, and how should it feel underfoot?

✨ Engineered wood: warm, and it patinas beautifully with age
💧 LVT: my go-to for kitchens and busy areas, as it’s far tougher and watertight
🪨 Natural stone: stunning, but needs a little love (and resealing)
🧱 Porcelain: durable and budget-friendly, just know the pattern is a printed layer
🧶 Carpet: lovely in bedrooms and on stairs, but I’d avoid it elsewhere

Long live boyhood 💙🤎

This little boy’s bedroom was SO much fun to design. We really leaned into that nostalgic, vintage American feel, playful enough for him now, but with pieces that won’t feel childish in a few years’ time.

The bespoke headboard is one of my favourite details, upholstered in this gorgeous fabric from The Pure Edit It feels so classic and timeless, and can easily grow with him as his room evolves.

We hit a few little snags along the way, so this one isn’t quite finished yet (because what project ever goes completely to plan), but it’s already looking so lovely.

I’ll be sharing the finished room once those final details are wrapped up and it’s been properly photographed.
