Another flooring transformation completed by the team! 🙌

For this project, we started by lifting the existing floor and preparing the subfloor properly to ensure a long-lasting finish. We installed a damp-proofing coat, followed by a latex smoothing compound to create the perfect base.

Once prepared, we applied a high-temperature adhesive before fitting the stunning Brampton Chase Studio Design LVT in Blonde Oak, laid in a classic herringbone pattern. 😍

The finished result looks absolutely fantastic and gives the space a timeless, stylish feel.

Sometimes, mistakes happen. 🤦‍♂️

In this case, a carpet was delivered to us in the wrong colour. Unfortunately, without realising, our team collected it and fitted it for the customer.

As soon as the customer made us aware, we acted quickly. Rather than asking the customer to wait while we went through the supplier’s investigation and complaints process, we ordered the correct carpet immediately at our own expense so we could get the issue resolved as quickly as possible.

We then returned to the property, lifted the incorrectly fitted carpet and replaced it with the colour the customer had originally chosen. 🙌

Nobody wants mistakes to happen, but we believe what really matters is how they’re handled when they do.

We’ll always take responsibility for putting things right and deal with any issues behind the scenes, rather than leaving our customers waiting for a resolution.

Because things don’t always go perfectly… but when they don’t, we’ll do everything we can to make them right. 👍

🏡 Downstairs Flooring Transformation in Swansea! ✨

Another downstairs renovation completed for a Swansea customer, and what a difference this flooring has made!

We started by properly preparing the subfloor with plyboard and feather edging, creating a smooth, stable surface ready for the finished floor.

We then installed our new Lignum LVT range in a stunning herringbone pattern throughout in Barley Oak colour 🔥

This was our first installation using the new Lignum range, and we’re really impressed with the finished result. It’s a great option for anyone looking for the look and feel of a quality LVT floor, with the added impact of a classic herringbone design.

Another project completed in Pembroke Dock for FSG 👌

We recently completed a flooring project for FSG, a Swansea-based contractor, at a facility in Pembroke Dock.

The project involved:

🔹 Preparing the subfloor with latex
🔹 Feather-edging the plyboards to ensure a smooth, consistent finish
🔹 Returning the following day to install R11 Forbo Safety Flooring
🔹 Installing Cap & Cove around the perimeter for a hygienic, durable finish

The finished floor looks fantastic and provides a hard-wearing solution suited to the demands of the facility.

It’s also been great to work with a new contractor contact at FSG and a really positive first project together. We’re looking forward to building on the relationship and hopefully working together on plenty more projects in the future.
