I can't decide whether this is spooky or just the epitome of coincidence!
As I was driving to visit my friend Amanda I thought to myself 'I must show her Cardi I've started knitting, it's right up her street...even the colour is her colour... knocked at the door...she opened the door wearing a practically identical cardigan to the one I've embarked on..
The difference - she bought hers from Next!!! Even down to the pockets😱

Sue M has been drawn back to the joy of sock making, it's been a while since she made her last pair and she sensibly decided to have another go before the technique escapes her!
This choice of yarn was perfect for the task, it's called fairisle and that's exactly what it creates, I think this is my favourite colourway...
Sue prefers small circular to double-pointed needles... everyone has their own preference!🧶🧦

Tracey's newest member of the family is due to arrive today, so 🤞for a safe delivery!
You've already seen some of the gorgeous knits she's made for this granddaughter, and as she's an exquisite knitter they've been tiptop!
Here is the latest - she's made it for the 6 - 12 month size...the main yarn is organic cotton and cashmere, 4ply...and if that wasn't special enough, she's added in this brand new carry along yarn that just weaves extra beauty through every stitch!🧶

Another Hexi finished and it looks superb on the maker - Jenny EK - how come some people always look gorgeous and can be relied upon to brighten your day with such a great smile? ?
This cute Hexagon Cardi was created using a wool/cotton blend sock yarn called Footprints bordered with purple, a popular solid 💜 sock yarn - Jawoll. Great look altogether!🧶

I can't tell you how perfect this cabled slipover looked on Denise D today, she looked radiant in it...you may recall the Poplin KAL we did earlier in the year?! Denise was a tad late starting and she chose Malabrigo Arroyo in the Cereza colourway instead of Rowan's Felted Tweed...she just finished it.
We've seen the end product from most of the other participants (that reminds me, we're due a little modelling party!!)...Denise, it was well worth the wait... absolutely fab! 🧶

Carmel G is having a great time making an array of socks...so much so...that she's had these labels made, very nice indeed! Carmel invested in some knitting machines and has had the patience to learn how to use them - they seem very complicated to me, but she has an appetite for learning new skills - she is currently studying the Harp!
The toes and heels are done by hand🧦🧶
