One man’s rubbish is another man’s treasure! 🤍

While landscaping, we uncovered a few discarded bottles. Nothing particularly old or valuable, but I couldn’t bring myself to throw them away!

So I gave them a little clean, added some labels and now they’re ready to take their place back in the house.

Not exactly an extraordinary makeover, but something about giving these little finds a new purpose feels rather special.

Sometimes it’s the simplest things that are the most precious. 🤍

I really have no idea what the secret to happiness really is!! But wow…. Morning walks like this make a very good start!!!…… A beautiful sunrise, with beautiful views and the sound of the sea! So good for the soul! Maybe that’s the secret to happiness after all!! 🏡🌊🌤️

We have the most wonderful guests! Many leave wonderful reviews and many send such lovely lovely messages! And I’m not sure why….. but I get such a warm feeling and get so emotional when I read them 😆 is this normal!?? 😆 I’m so proud of our houses but I feel even happier knowing our guests have had such a wonderful stay!! And how lucky we feel to have such wonderful guests! Rest assured….I’ll keep ensuring our places are perfect for you, will keep liaising with you guests like long time friends and family and will absolutely keep getting all happy and emotional in the process!! 😜😆🥹🥹

The landscaping has taken on a whole new level across the road at The Forge!! And I cannot describe how much I love this stage of any project! 🤎🏡

We have steps, paths, the walls are nearing completion, coping stones going on top and not only that, but we’re planning on building a porch over the front door!! 🥳

It always feels quite special when something that has looked like a building site outside for so long, starts to look finished! We’re getting there!! 🏡🪏🌳🌱🧱

I’m outside early today! Turned the horses out and thought I’d pack away our outside dining area for winter! Only to find everything is covered in fly poo!🪰💩…..

Not a problem - I don’t mind jobs, I’m a grafter….but it did get me thinking! Lots of people think my life is glamorous and so far this morning I’ve being surrounded by horse, dog and fly poo! No glamour here today!!! 😆😆 and never when I was younger did I ever imagine having to do such sh*te jobs!! 🤦🏻‍♀️💩😆

I’m definitely not a sales woman 😬 And I don’t like the hard sell😆 I just can’t do it! So I often do little posts about our Cornwall house! 🏡🌊

But I’m not sure I’ve ever made it obvious enough!! Just to make it clear….. we do rent out our Cornwall house for holidays😆👏🏻👏🏻 We also have a bungalow in Cornwall we rent out and are doing up a place in Staffordshire that we be available very soon!
