Evening pop pickers

15 years ago today 10.10.11 ..I took a gamble on my fave ‘shop’ in our village..
I’d walked past this shop when I was a little girl with my grammie and grandad ..I always loved the window..
Fast forward many years .. and 25 years in floristry
I got the opportunity of opening a little flowery shop
I wanted to bring a pretty shop to our high street …more importantly I wanted to bring a little place that welcomed everyone ..somewhere where we made friends not just flowers
And wow has Lavs delivered ..
and that’s not just down to me
That’s everyone that’s been with me
Lucy..Toni.. are Beth..Aga …Bella ..Caz .. Shaz..Tom ..Michael ..Mandy
My little mum 🩷and are glad🩷 (aka the biddies!) my mum helped me so so much in Lavs 😍are bill my unpaid accountant 💙
Sadly some customers/friends and loved ones 💔who have been with me from day one are no longer with us ..but heck am I grateful for you all ..past and present
I am one lucky Lav lady that has had some bloody amazing years in that little shop …
So tonight (have a guess😂)
I’ve got a champs and white flowers and hydrangeas all over and I’m toasting Lavenders …a very happy 15th birthday…
Thankyou all for keeping Lavs birthdays rolling 🥂🍾
I think she’s a special little flower shop🥰
Dawn x💜
