💐 A Day in the Life of a Part-Time Florist & Full-Time Employee 💐
5:00 AM: Alarm goes off.
5:01 AM: Question why flowers are pretty but life is not.
5:15 AM: Quick coffee, quick mental pep talk, and off to the wholesaler I go.
6:00 AM: At the wholesaler surrounded by absolute floral chaos 🌸
Me: “I’ll just grab a few things.”
Also me: leaves with enough flowers to supply a small country wedding season.
6:45 AM: Attempt to carry everything without dropping a single stem or my dignity.
7:30 AM: Back home, unloading flowers like I’ve just returned from a very colourful war zone.
8:00 AM – 4:30 PM: Full-time job mode activated. 📋💻
Smiling professionally while thinking about roses, ribbon, and whether anyone will notice I smell like eucalyptus.
Lunch break: Not a break. It’s florist HQ on the go. 📱
Messages to customers, supplier checks, pricing calculations, and pretending I’m “just scrolling.”
4:31 PM: Freedom.
4:32 PM: Florist business owner mode: ON 💐✨
5:00 PM: Start conditioning flowers, sorting stems, and pretending my kitchen is a professional studio (it is not).
6:30 PM: Create bouquets like I’m in a floral reality show with no budget and no time limit.
7:30 PM: Take product photos.
7:31 PM: Retake product photos because the lighting has personally offended me.
8:30 PM: Admin, messages, orders, repeat.
10:30 PM: Promise myself I’ll “go to bed early tomorrow.”
11:15 PM: Still replying to “how much is a bouquet?” messages with one eye closed.
Being a florist with a full-time job means early wholesaler runs, late nights, and constantly living in a world of flowers, invoices, and mild exhaustion… but I wouldn’t trade it. 🌸💕
Somehow, it all blooms in the end. 💐
