🌸 GET TO KNOW ME — BECAUSE APPARENTLY I HAVE NEW FOLLOWERS?! 🌸

We’ve had a few new faces around here recently, so I thought I’d actually introduce myself instead of just appearing on your feed talking about flowers like some sort of floral-obsessed lunatic. 😂

Hi 👋🏼 I’m Jayke, I’m 28 and I’m the owner of Made By Jayke 💐

My love for flowers actually started with my Nan. 🤍

We used to make floral arrangements together for my great-grandma’s grave, and we’d also make Christmas arrangements for the table at home. 🎄🌸

So basically… my Nan accidentally created a florist. 😂

Fast forward a few years and here I am — running my own flower business, surrounded by flowers, covered in foliage and questioning my life choices every time the flower bill arrives. 😂

I’m also married 💍

And apparently I HAVE to mention that my husband makes all the boxes for Made By Jayke. 🙄😂

He made me put this in here because apparently he was getting FOMO and felt he wasn’t receiving enough credit for his hard labour. 🙄😂

So yes, whilst I’m busy playing with pretty flowers, he’s in the background making the boxes that your pretty flowers arrive in.

Happy now, husband? 😂

Made By Jayke has grown from those really special moments with my Nan into something I’m incredibly proud of, and I honestly never imagined those little arrangements would eventually lead me here. 🥹🤍

It’s Wednesday… which means Made By Jayke is CLOSED today. 🌸

Because I’ll spend the morning telling myself I’m having a proper day off…

…then I’ll start thinking about flowers.

Then I’ll “just have a little look” at an order.

Then I’ll probably end up doing the bloody order anyway. 🤦‍♀️😂

One minute we’re feeling all 🌸🌞 “Ooh, lovely summer!” and the next we’re getting absolutely shafted by the forecast. 😂☔️

The flowers are confused.
I’m confused.
Pretty sure even the bees are sat somewhere saying, “For fecks sake.” 🐝🤣

British weather really does have the emotional stability of a drunk ex — hot, cold, wet, unpredictable and always ruining your plans. 🍻😂

At this point, I don’t know whether to water the flowers or put them in a f**cking raincoat. 🌧️🌷

Anyway… if the weather isn’t going to brighten your day, a gorgeous bouquet bloody well can. 💐😉

Is it just me… or do other business pages get CONSTANT messages saying:

Honestly, THANK YOU… but jeeeeeeze 😂

The amount of these messages I get in a day is actually getting silly. At this point, I’m expecting someone to knock on my door and offer to optimise my fridge. 😂
