‘The Victim’. Number 2 in the ‘Beyond the veil’ series of paintings.
This piece is inspired by Lucy. A name we heard spoken during a paranormal investigation at Netherton Tunnel. The name has been repeated down there on a separate occasion. Even though there are no recorded deaths of any female named Lucy at the tunnel it does make you wonder how many secrets that place could hold. Almost 200 years old, and 2.7 miles long and in complete darkness. I’m sure there’s many things that have happened down there.
