Joining us at on June 7th is ✨

Chris Cowdrill is an illustrator and teacher from Birmingham who loves drawing and sketching from real life as much as possible. He is interested in a range of subjects from the natural world including flowers, fungi, birds, animals and insects, as well as more pop-culture subjects from tv and film. His colourful and contemporary illustration work is produced using traditional techniques and digital processes - artworks are drawn by hand with colour and textures added digitally from a selection of his own painted and coloured papers that have been scanned. He also produces one-of-a-kind artworks of varying sizes using traditional, analogue collage techniques - cutting each piece by hand whether the artwork has a dozen pieces or a hundred! Chris will have for sale original artwork as well as prints, postcards, badges, greetings cards and artist books/zines.

How time flies! We’re less than two weeks away from the next WAAM, hosted by the wonderful folks over at ✨

Artist announcements will be starting tomorrow, so keep you eyes out to see which local creatives will be gracing us with their presence 👀

A side note to add, we’re fully booked for June and July. We’ll be opening bookings for August and September in early July :)

We had our first market back last week, and what a time it was!

1 day to go! Are you excited? We sure are!

The last artist to announce is ✨

Katt is an illustrator who's style has varied over the years, starting out with dot work with an occult theme and evolving into tattoo inspired pieces, and playing around with digital art. "I've recently been experimenting with lino printing, something I haven't done in over 10 years, and I've really enjoyed getting back into the process. I like working with different media, like haberdashery and sculpting, so adding another skill to my creative arsenal is very rewarding."
She also takes on commissions, focusing on designing tattoos for clients.
