A little kitchen glow up completed a few weeks ago 🩵 It really shows what a difference a couple of tins of paint can make to some tired looking cabinets.

Colour Green Blue 84 F&B mixed in Helmi 30
Handles treated to some satin for extra protection.

A hallway stairs and landing tidy up from a couple of weeks ago.
There were a lot of cracks to sort out on the landing to the loft conversion and out came the trusty fine mesh tape and filler again.
The skirting down stairs went from brown to white and the spindles were painted. Downstairs the walls had an extra coat of their current colour to finish everything off.
Walls ~ Lunar Falls light and space
Woodwork ~ BIN then semi gloss
‘We were very impressed with Polly’s work. Her preparation, especially making good the cracks in plasterwork was excellent, as was the painting. We are really pleased’ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A lovely colourful makeover for this much used living room.
The brief was to make it more cosy and welcoming. Bringing the beautiful colour down from the picture rail to skirtings has brought the space together, whilst above, tonal white softens the space. Finally the cool radiator gets to pop.
Above picture rail ~ Fennel white
Below ~ Rosemary leaf DH mixed in Optiva 5 & Helmi 10. The sill has had a couple of coats of Matt to protect from 🐾

‘Polly has just finished decorating my Lounge. I am delighted with the result. She not only did an excellent job, with attention to detail, but was very careful of my home/carpet/floors, which I much appreciated. Very trustworthy. I was happy to go out and leave her to it. She cleared up and left my Lounge in immaculate condition. I highly recommend her and will definitely use her again.’ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Last weeks living room makeover, I didn’t manage to get many finished photos 🫣
Lots of filling, paint that wouldn’t dry and no lights in the room made it a little trickier than expected. As you can see, my new client was very pleased with the end results.

A bedroom refresh for my client in Lancing.
The walls have been matched to the mural base colour. The woodwork and radiator needed some tlc, now looking better than they did.
I also glued down the edges of the mural as they were coming away.

On Friday night we had the Polly Paints Christmas do 🎄🎄. It’s turning into an annual pilgrimage to this time we completed Smugglers Ruin, 2 mins over target 😬, it was hard work but we all loved it.
Then some very yummy South Indian food .madras the flavours are sublime, followed by cocktails for pudding a must visit in Worthing.

It’s all about the prep ⭐️
Here are the pictures after all that wallpaper removal and prep.
Our lovely client has lived here for 40yrs, and has seen many changes over that time. Last to go were the layers of paper and opening up the rooms.

I just love this 💙
My new client had waited over two years to get the ground floor of her house finished. This downstairs loo is in the side return, the skylight works so well.

The door stayed natural as her preference
