A little makeover this week for a family’s living room. It started out as a white box with some settlement cracks to sort out and finished off looking rather sumptuous in a colour drench.

Ceiling & Walls Lick White 05 LickPro max
Woodwork White 05 in satin
Wallpaper is Tille taupe linen effect by Goodhome B&Q
Such a lovely family and I’m really chuffed with their review ⭐️⭐️

This was a huge transformation for our lovely clients, and the last large hall/stairs/landing for the foreseeable. 🩵🫶🏼

It had grey sparkly wallpaper (removed for us) and white gloss woodwork through out.
With A LOT of prep, days of it, it’s changed into something beautiful. It also flows beautifully from the kitchen and living room colours I previously decorated.
Ceilings ~ AR2
Walls ~ LG Aquamarine pale mixed in Optiva 5 Tikkurila Paint supplied by Gardner & Scardifield
Woodwork ~ LG Aquamarine mid mixed in Scuff X eggshell supplied by Decorating Centre Online
Handrails finished off in Polyvine
I look forward to seeing it finished off with the new carpet.

Hello 👋🏼 I haven’t been on here much recently.
But having spent the last few days having a super dooper catch up with enquiries, quotes etc and I’m feeling back on top of my biz.

I’ve reopened my diary, & due to a reschedule I now have one spot left before Christmas. I’m then looking at mid February onwards for new projects. My lovely Julia is hanging up her paintbrush very soon 😭, which means I’m not taking on any larger projects especially big hall/stairs/landings at present.

In other news I’ve started a 12 wk course with the brilliant Sharon - Trade Health Coach and by the end of that I hoping we’ve devised a master plan for 2027 and beyond. 🎉🎉

A kitchen wall & ceiling refresh.
Due to the original paint used not being kitchen specific and lots of cooking being done here, there was a lot of grease and other marks that wouldn’t come off.
After lots of prep and a handy can of Zinsser UK BIN it’s looking nice and sharp.
Ceiling ~ Zinsser Perma white
Walls ~ Honey Mustard & Pebble Shore Dulux both mixed up in Tikkurila Paint Luja 7, the best for grease stains.
I didn’t manage to get many 📸

Living room ~ Just Walnut Dulux again mixed in Velvet Matt

This room deserves two posts!!

With a very hot week to contend with I removed the rest of the old paper, line all the walls, colour drench and then hang this banana leaf paper.
My client removed the old wardrobe and boarded it out ready for her new home office cubby, which can then be curtained off.

Walls, ceiling & wood work all in Masquerade by Little Greene colour matched in Optiva 5 & Helmi.

Bespoke storage built by the brilliant for super photographer
Back again to this home studio to brig these shelves and cupboards to life.
Still problems with the chimney breast wall so another patch job until this can be resolved.
Note to self only except the right dark colour base for the primer otherwise you’re looking at 5 coats with this kind of shade.
Flower Pot by Earthborn colour matched in Helmi 10 to blend in with the walls.
