הפרטים הקטנים הם אף פעם לא תוספת. הם הסיפור כולו. 🏙️
לפעמים הדרמה האמיתית ברחובות ניו יורק לא קוראת בתוך המבנים – אלא דווקא במפגש ביניהם.
כשמביטים למעלה, מגלים דיאלוג חומרי מרתק: חזית לבנים היסטורית ומחוספסת לצד מעטפת זכוכית חלקה ומודרנית. מדרגות מתכת חיצוניות משרטטות קווים גיאומטריים חדים על קיר חשוף, ומרפסות מעוגלות משנות את הקצב של המבנה השכן.
בתמונות האלו עצרתי לבחון את הניגודיות הזו. איך כל חזית שומרת על האופי המדויק שלה, ובכל זאת הופכת לחלק מהשפה של הרחוב. המרווחים, הגבהים והמפגש בין הטקסטורות – הם אלו שמכתיבים את החוויה שלנו כשאנחנו הולכים בעיר.
את תפיסת העולם הזו אני מביאה לכל פרויקט בסטודיו. בעיצוב פנים ובאדריכלות, החיבור בין חומרים הוא המפתח. השאלה היא לא רק אילו חומרים נציב זה לצד זה, אלא כמה מרחב ונשימה נכון להעניק לכל אחד מהם כדי שהשילוב יעבוד בדיוק.
בקרוסלה הזו אספתי כמה רגעים ומפגשים ארכיטקטוניים שעצרו לי את המבט.

In high-end design, the smaller details are never an afterthought. They are the concept itself. 🏙️
Sometimes, the real architectural drama on the streets of New York doesn't happen inside the buildings—but in the raw connection between them.
A fascinating dialogue of materiality unfolds: a rugged, historic brick façade stands side-by-side with a sleek glass exterior. Industrial fire escapes sketch sharp geometric lines across a wall, while curved balconies shift the rhythm of the building next door.
In these photographs, I wanted to capture this tension. Each structure retains its absolute character, yet gracefully becomes part of the shared streetscape. The deliberate gaps, the heights, and the transitions between textures shape exactly how we experience the urban environment.
This is the philosophy I bring to my studio. In design, placing materials together is an art. It is about knowing how much breathing room each texture needs to allow the combination to truly elevate the space.
This carousel brings together a few architectural encounters that made me stop and capture the moment.

חזרתי מהטיול המשפחתי בארה״ב עם הרבה רגעים יפים שלנו יחד, וגם עם פרטים שהעין שלי פשוט לא יכלה לעבור לידם בלי לעצור.
אחד המקומות האלה היה SUMMIT One Vanderbilt בניו יורק, שבו העיר ממשיכה אל תוך החלל דרך ההשתקפויות.
המראות מחזירות את השמיים, הבניינים ואת האנשים שסביבנו. המבט נע בין מה שנמצא בחוץ לבין מה שמשתקף בפנים, ולרגע קשה להבין איפה נגמרת הרצפה ואיפה מתחילה התקרה.
חללי המראות הם חלק מ־AIR, המיצב של האמן Kenzo Digital. בחלל Affinity מצטרפים גם הכדורים הכסופים, שמכניסים תנועה ומשחק לתוך החוויה.
אהבתי לראות איך האנשים נעשים חלק מהקומפוזיציה. צעד קטן, כדור שזז, שינוי באור, והתמונה כולה משתנה.
כמעצבת, מעניין אותי האופן שבו חומר יכול להשפיע על תחושת המרחב. כאן אפשר להרגיש את זה בכל מבט, וגם ליהנות יחד כמשפחה.

I came home from our family trip to the US with lovely memories of our time together, and details my eye simply couldn’t pass without pausing.
One of those places was SUMMIT One Vanderbilt in New York, where reflections bring the city into the space.
The mirrors reflect the sky, the buildings and the people around us. Your gaze moves between what is outside and what is reflected inside, until the boundary between floor and ceiling becomes difficult to read.
The mirrored spaces are part of AIR, an installation by artist Kenzo Digital. In Affinity, silver balloons add movement and play to the experience.
I loved seeing how people become part of the composition. A small step, a balloon drifting past, a change in the light, and the whole picture shifts.
As a designer, I am interested in how a material can change our perception of space. Here, you can feel it wherever you look, while enjoying the experience together as a family.

מראות יכולות לגרום לחלל להיראות גדול יותר, אבל בפרויקט הזה הן עושות הרבה מעבר לכך.

חזיתות המראה ממשיכות את הציר המרכזי של הקליניקה, משקפות את האלמנטים הגיאומטריים ויוצרות תחושה של שכבות ועומק. חלק מהנגרות נטמע בתוכן, כך שהפתרונות הפונקציונליים אינם מכבידים על המעבר ואינם קוטעים את השפה הנקייה.

השימוש במראות מאפשר למבט לנוע בין המציאות להשתקפות שלה. החלל משתנה בהתאם לזווית שממנה מביטים בו, ולעיתים קשה לזהות היכן הוא מסתיים והיכן מתחילה ההשתקפות.

בעיניי, זה אחד הדברים היפים בתכנון: האפשרות לקחת צורך מעשי, כמו אחסון וניצול נכון של המרחב, ולהפוך אותו לחלק בלתי נפרד מהחוויה העיצובית.
פונקציונליות אינה צריכה להסתתר מהעיצוב. היא יכולה להיות העיצוב.

Mirrors can make a space appear larger, but in this project they do much more than that.
The mirrored fronts continue the main axis of the clinic, reflect its geometric elements and create a sense of depth and multiple layers. Some of the cabinetry is integrated into the mirrored surfaces, allowing the practical storage solutions to blend naturally into the interior without interrupting the clean visual language.
The use of mirrors allows the eye to move between the physical space and its reflection. The interior changes depending on the angle from which it is viewed, and at times it becomes difficult to tell where the space ends and the reflection begins.
To me, this is one of the most rewarding aspects of design: taking a practical requirement, such as storage or efficient use of space, and transforming it into an essential part of the experience.
Functionality does not need to be hidden by the design.
It can become the design itself.

בתכנון חלל, הפרטים הקטנים אינם מגיעים בסוף. הם חלק מהרעיון כבר מהרגע הראשון.
השולחן, הצמחייה, הכלים הפיסוליים, הטקסטורות והמפגש בין גוני האבן, העץ והעור, כל אחד מהם מוסיף שכבה נוספת לחוויה.
בחרתי במספר מצומצם של פריטים, אבל לכל אחד מהם נוכחות ברורה. במקום למלא את החלל, הם מאפשרים לו לנשום ומדגישים את החומרים ואת התאורה שסביבם.
גם כאן ממשיך השיח בין צורות שלמות, קווים שבורים וחיבורים בלתי צפויים. שום פריט אינו עומד בפני עצמו, וכל בחירה מקבלת משמעות מתוך הקשר שלה למכלול.
עיצוב מדויק אינו נמדד בכמות האלמנטים שנכניס לחלל, אלא ביכולת לדעת מה באמת נחוץ לו.
ולפעמים, פריט אחד במקום הנכון מספר סיפור שלם.

In interior design, the smaller details are not added at the end. They are part of the concept from the very beginning.
The side table, the greenery, the sculptural objects, the textures and the combination of stone, wood and leather tones each add another layer to the experience.
I chose a limited number of objects, but each one has a clear presence. Rather than filling the space, they allow it to breathe while highlighting the materials and lighting around them.
The dialogue between complete forms, fragmented lines and unexpected connections continues here as well. No item stands entirely on its own. Each choice gains meaning through its relationship with the overall composition.
Precise design is not measured by how many elements are placed in a room, but by knowing what the space truly needs.
Sometimes, one object in exactly the right place can tell the entire story.

כשמתכננים קליניקה, אי אפשר להתייחס לחדר ההמתנה כאל אזור מעבר בלבד.
זהו המקום שבו עוצרים לרגע לפני פגישה, שיחה או טיפול. לפעמים מגיעים אליו עם התרגשות, ולפעמים גם עם חשש. לכן היה חשוב ליצור בו תחושה שקטה, עוטפת ולא רשמית מדי.
הכורסאות הרכות, הספה הבהירה, הצמחייה והגוונים החמים מאזנים את הקווים הגיאומטריים ואת האלמנטים הכהים. יחד הם מייצרים חלל שיש בו עומק ונוכחות, אבל גם רכות אמיתית.
התאורה אינה שוטפת את החדר באור אחיד. היא יוצרת שכבות, מדגישה אזורים ומאפשרת לעין לנוח.
כי חדר המתנה טוב לא אמור להזכיר לנו שאנחנו מחכים.
הוא צריך לגרום לנו להרגיש שכבר מהרגע הראשון, מישהו חשב עלינו.

When designing a clinic, the waiting room cannot be treated as merely a transitional space.
It is where people pause before an appointment, a conversation or a procedure. Sometimes they arrive feeling excited, and sometimes with a degree of concern. That is why it was important to create a space that feels calm, comforting and not overly formal.
The soft armchairs, light sofa, natural greenery and warm tones balance the geometric lines and darker architectural elements. Together, they create an interior with depth and presence, but also genuine softness.
The lighting does not flood the room with one uniform source of light. Instead, it creates layers, highlights specific areas and allows the eye to rest.
Because a well-designed waiting room should not constantly remind us that we are waiting.
It should make us feel that, from the very first moment, someone has thought about our experience.

חדרי הייעוץ והטיפול צריכים לענות על צרכים מקצועיים ברורים, אבל הם אינם חייבים להיראות טכניים או מנוכרים.
בחדר הטיפולים שילבנו את הציוד הרפואי בתוך מעטפת רגועה ומדויקת. הווילונות הרכים, התאורה הליניארית, המראה הגדולה ופלטת הגוונים ממשיכים את השפה של הקליניקה, ובו בזמן שומרים על סביבת עבודה יעילה ונוחה.
בחדר הייעוץ, השולחן והכיסאות ממוקמים כך שהשיחה יכולה להתקיים באופן ישיר ונעים. לא חדר שנועד לייצר מרחק, אלא מקום שמאפשר להקשיב, להסביר ולקבל החלטות בביטחון.
כשאני מתכננת חלל מקצועי, חשוב לי לחשוב על שני הצדדים: על האדם שמגיע לקבל שירות ועל איש המקצוע שעובד בו מדי יום.
עיצוב מוצלח צריך לתמוך בשניהם.

Consultation and treatment rooms need to meet clear professional requirements, but they do not have to feel technical or impersonal.
In the treatment room, the medical equipment was integrated into a calm and carefully designed environment. The soft curtains, linear lighting, large mirror and muted colour palette continue the visual language of the clinic while maintaining an efficient and comfortable working space.
In the consultation room, the desk and chairs are positioned to support a direct and relaxed conversation. This is not a room designed to create distance, but a place that allows people to listen, explain and make decisions with greater confidence.
When I design a professional environment, I always consider both sides of the experience: the person arriving for a consultation or treatment, and the professional who works in the space every day.
Successful design should support them both.

כל שנה חדשה מביאה איתה הזדמנות לעצור לרגע, להסתכל על מה שיש, ולחלום על מה שעוד אפשר ליצור.
לפעמים לא צריך להתחיל הכל מחדש, מספיק שינוי אחד קטן כדי שכל הבית ירגיש אחרת, וכל יום יתחיל בתחושה חדשה.

השפה הגיאומטרית שנבחרה לקליניקה עוסקת במפגש שבין השלם לבין מה שאנחנו ממהרים להגדיר כ״לא מושלם״.
המראות אינן מופיעות כאן כמלבן מוכר וסימטרי. הן נחתכות, נפגשות וממשיכות זו את זו בצורות שונות. דווקא דרך הקווים הבלתי צפויים נוצרת קומפוזיציה שלמה והרמונית.
בעיניי, זהו חיבור משמעותי במיוחד בקליניקה שעוסקת באסתטיקה.
לא ניסיון לייצר שלמות אחידה ומוחלטת, אלא מקום שמאפשר לראות יופי, זהות והרמוניה גם בתוך השונות.
התאורה הנסתרת עוקבת אחר קווי המראות, מדגישה את הצורות ומעניקה להן תחושה כמעט מרחפת. כך, אלמנט פונקציונלי הופך לרעיון שמלווה את החלל כולו.

לפעמים דווקא הקו שאינו צפוי הוא זה שהופך את התמונה למעניינת באמת.

The geometric language chosen for this clinic explores the relationship between what we consider whole and what we are often quick to define as imperfect.
The mirrors do not appear as familiar, symmetrical rectangles. They are divided, connected and extended through unexpected forms. It is precisely through these unconventional lines that a complete and harmonious composition is created.
To me, this concept carries particular meaning in a clinic dedicated to aesthetics.
It is not about creating one uniform or absolute version of perfection. It is about recognising beauty, identity and harmony within difference.

The concealed lighting follows the lines of the mirrors, emphasising their forms and giving them an almost weightless quality. In this way, a functional element becomes part of the central idea running through the entire space.
Sometimes, it is the unexpected line that makes the whole composition truly interesting.

לפני שמתקיימת שיחה עם הרופא, מתקיים מפגש ראשון עם המקום.
דלפק הקבלה בקליניקה של ד״ר אריאל ניימן תוכנן כאלמנט פיסולי שמגדיר את החלל, אבל אינו משתלט עליו. הגיאומטריה שלו חדה ובעלת נוכחות, בעוד שפלטת הגוונים החמה מרככת אותה ויוצרת תחושה נעימה ומזמינה.
היה חשוב לי שהקבלה לא תרגיש כמו מחסום שמפריד בין המטופלים לצוות, אלא כמו נקודת חיבור.
כי גם האלמנט המרשים ביותר בחלל צריך לשרת את האנשים שנמצאים בו.
עיצוב טוב לא מסתכם ביצירת רושם. הוא בונה את הדרך שבה האדם פוגש את המקום, מבין אותו ומרגיש בו בטוח.
כאן, השפה העיצובית מתחילה כבר בדלפק וממשיכה ממנו אל כל חלקי הקליניקה.

Precisely because this is a plastic surgery and aesthetic clinic, it was clear that the experience needed to begin differently.
Dr. Ariel Neiman wanted to create a place where patients would feel comfortable. A space that feels modern and professional, yet never cold or distant. Impressive, but still welcoming enough for every conversation to take place at eye level.
That is where the design process began. Not with the question of what a clinic is supposed to look like, but with the question of how the people entering it should feel.
The result is a warm, sophisticated and carefully considered space, distinctly different from the traditional clinical environment, without compromising for a moment on professionalism or trust.

יש מקומות שאנחנו נכנסים אליהם וכבר ברגע הראשון הגוף מעט מתכווץ.
ודווקא משום שמדובר בקליניקה לכירורגיה פלסטית ואסתטית, היה לנו ברור שהחוויה כאן צריכה להתחיל אחרת.
ד״ר אריאל ניימן ביקש ליצור מקום שבו המטופלות והמטופלים ירגישו בנוח. מקום מודרני ומקצועי, אבל לא מנוכר. מרשים, אבל כזה שמאפשר לשיחה להתקיים בגובה העיניים.
מכאן התחיל התכנון של הקליניקה: לא מתוך השאלה איך קליניקה אמורה להיראות, אלא מתוך השאלה איך האנשים שנכנסים אליה אמורים להרגיש.
התוצאה היא חלל עוטף, עמוק ומדויק, שמצליח להיות שונה מאוד מהקליניקה המוכרת, מבלי לוותר לרגע על תחושת הביטחון והמקצועיות.
