The Dialogue of Form

These forms once carved in stone and cast in metal embodied cosmic principles of creation, ascent, and renewal.
Festivity, too, carries these inheritances where colour, shape, and form become vessels of memory, retelling the symbolic histories of our past. In reinterpreting them today, we revisit not just a motif, but a memory: how geometry once carried faith, and how design continues to hold the pulse of time.

Kalasa

Inspired by form, reinterpreted into story

Traditionally placed atop temple domes, marks the cosmic axis a symbolic vessel connecting the terrestrial to the celestial. Its tapering finial represents ascent, completion, and containment of divine energy. The lotus, positioned at its base, has long signified purity emerging from the primal waters an emblem of creation and spiritual awakening in Indian art. Together they form a dialogue of stillness and movement the eternal cycle where form becomes philosophy, and geometry becomes memory.

Wishing you creation, continuity and prosperity

Happy Diwali

The art of making is a study in awareness.
It’s not only about the object that emerges, but about the discipline, intent, and dialogue that shape it.
The final piece is only a reflection the real work happens in the process.

Heritage in every detail.

Maximalism, for us, is about giving in to beauty. It’s the joy of being surrounded by layers of texture, colour, and craft that speak to you all at once. Indulgent design isn’t about excess, it’s about feeling something every time your eyes rest on a detail like being wrapped in stories made by hand.

Every brand begins somewhere, and our journey led us to explore more than furniture. Ours was born out of a larger dream, one where interiors, fashion, art, and sport come together as a way of life. That’s why the Polo Cup was never just about horses and mallets. It became our stage to tell a story of heritage and modernity, of how luxury isn’t confined to a home but flows into the way we live, celebrate, and remember.

Heritage in every detail.

Maximalism, in its truest sense, is not excess—it is expression. It is the Indian way of seeing the world: layered textiles, intricate patterns, vibrant colours, and ornamentation that speaks of abundance. Each detail is not merely decoration but memory, a visual language passed through generations.

Our work celebrates this inheritance, where the richness of Indian visuals becomes a canvas for contemporary living.

The Bianco Wing Chair
For years our work was recognised for the regal, the ornate, and the richly carved. Then arrived the Bianco, a departure in every sense. Clad in simplicity, defined by contemporary lines, and softened by a palette of quiet whites, it spoke not through grandeur but through restraint. In its contrast lay its power.

The Bianco quickly became more than a chair. It became a symbol of balance between legacy and modernity, between ornament and purity. To this day, it remains our most beloved piece, cherished by the young and the discerning, admired by those who live with culture and those who shape spaces. Both practical and poetic, the Bianco is heirloom, stately, and a throne for modern royalty.

Zahir, 2008
The Zahir Chair was imagined as more than furniture, it was a statement. At a time when ornament and craft were often seen as excessive, even “too Indian,” we chose to embrace them, to let them speak in their fullest voice. What emerged was not simply a chair, but a form that carried the dignity of craft into a space where it had long been overlooked.

We take pride in this legacy: the ability to honor the smallest details, to ornament without hesitation, and to prove that beauty and meaning are inseparable. Craft has always been at the heart of our work, not as an afterthought, but as the very foundation of design. By placing it at the center, we redefined what it means for something to be both Indian and timeless.

The Zahir Chair is proof: heritage is not behind us, it lives within the forms we bring to life.

Burma Teak
The wood that has carried our ideas with strength, becoming the vessel that shapes them into lasting form. Its grain tells of resilience, of craft carried forward, and of pieces that continue to live on through time.
