In the heart of Paris, close to the iconic Place Charles de Gaulle, a and new retail destination takes shape along Avenue de Wagram.

Set within a location layered with history, once home to the Théâtre des Folies Wagram, the space carries forward a subtle dialogue between past and present.

Spanning 2.000 sqm across two levels, the store unfolds around a sculptural central staircase, while an exposed ceiling reveals the technical backbone of the space, treated with a refined and intentional aesthetic.

Light, volume and materiality interact to shape an environment that is both contemporary and rooted in its context, where movement becomes part of the spatial narrative.

THiRTYONE Art Residency – Chapter 2 -

We are pleased to announce a new Art Residency collaboration with artist Marta Abbott. Inspired by our new space in Piazza Sant’Anastasia, the project will take shape from the figure of Saint Anastasia, a symbol of care, resilience and quiet strength.

Through vessels that recall ancient Roman medicine jars, Abbott will weave together memory, material and spirituality, creating works that connect past and present. A dialogue between art and design, where research, process and creativity share the same space.

Thank you for sharing with us these past two months of Art Residency dedicated to research, listening and experimentation.

Through “La pianta è un corpo”, Cecilia brought a sensitive and radical perspective on the relationship between space, nature and presence, transforming the creative process into an open dialogue between matter, gesture and perception. Her work reminded us that design can be not only about creating projects, but also about observation, care and connection.

We are grateful to have shared this journey together and to have welcomed her vision into our studio, from which “Pianta 31” was born: a living organism on canvas intertwining the spirit, energy and individuality of every member of THiRTYONE.

Thank you to everyone who experienced, inhabited and shared “Goodbye Discomfort” during Milan Design Week 2026. The project transformed an invisible quality - lightness - into a spatial experience.

A suspended, soft and permeable environment designed to welcome, encourage slowing down and invite connection. Through transparency, movement and interaction, “Goodbye Discomfort” explored comfort not only as a material characteristic, but as a sensory condition: a space that breathes, adapts and is completed by the presence of those who move through it.

Thank you to UNIQLO, INTERNI Magazine, the University of Milan, and to all those who brought this project to life through their presence, curiosity and participation.

“Goodbye Discomfort” highlights one of the characteristics of Uniqlo’s AIRism fabric: lightness. A quality often perceived only physically is translated into spatial form: comfort. AIRism fabric, known for its breathability, softness and ability to adapt to movement, becomes a design tool for creating a welcoming and relaxing environment. Lightness is not only physical, but perceptual. The surface moves with the air and gestures, reacting to presence, conveying a sensation of fluidity. Transparency becomes a threshold, fabric becomes atmosphere. AIRism is not just material, but experience: breathability that creates space, softness that becomes gesture, comfort that becomes a sensitive landscape. An environment that is activated by contact and completed by interaction.

“Goodbye Discomfort” is a dialogue with the context that hosts this site-specific installation and with the student community that passes through these spaces every day. A suspended shelter that takes shape like a gentle breath: a cube constructed through concentric bands that define an environment to be traversed and inhabited. Inside, a change in height creates a void in which to pause, settle in and slow down. The color and tone change and are discovered only by entering with confidence, following a slower place.

How do you design a hotel that adapts to guests’ evolving needs, blending design, functionality and business strategy?

In this episode of Hospitality Talk by , explores the evolving world of hotel design, showing how a cross-industry approach - from fashion to retail, international design to hospitality - can turn hotels into unique experiential spaces.

From narrative concepts to multifunctional areas that mix leisure, work and art, Claudia highlights examples like POSThome in Milan, where aesthetics and conceptual consistency create memorable environments.

A dialogue between creativity and pragmatism, vision and daily management, revealing how Italian hospitality is evolving toward hybrid spaces that tell authentic stories.

“Goodbye Discomfort” is the name of the site-specific installation designed for , part of Materiae, at University, during Milan Design Week 2026.

The work highlights the lightness of the AIRism fabric, creating a shelter for the student community. A suspended space that takes shape like a gentle breath, conceived as a pause to release pressure, where one can stop, breathe, and be enveloped by a sensory experience. The installation invites the public to engage with the material: to touch it, pass through it, inhabit it. The surface moves with the air and gestures, conveying a sensation of fluidity and lightness. Transparency becomes a threshold, the fabric becomes atmosphere: comfort becomes a sensitive landscape.

TT - THiRTYONE Trends | 02 – Color Accents

Color accents define the second chapter of , shaping interiors through precise chromatic interventions. Color is no longer background. It becomes a tool. 2026 marks a shift towards controlled palettes, tonal depth and emotionally driven design.

The images show a selection of our projects where color constructs identity through continuity and perception. For in Milan, a deep cobalt blue thread becomes a spatial device - an uninterrupted line that moves across railings, display and light, stitching together volumes, materials and narrative.

With in Rome, pastel tones and soft neutrals define a warm and continuous chromatic field, where color reinforces softness, intimacy and emotional connection.

In POSThome, conceived by , color operates as a subtle yet intentional layer within a contemporary domestic landscape. Designed as a response to new living needs, the space explores hybridity and multifunctionality, where accents contribute to defining zones, uses and perception within the home.

Finally, with in Rome, bold chromatic accents - from lilac and sage green to acid yellow - articulate spatial sequences, where color guides perception and frames experience through contrast within a coherent visual language.
