White walls are useful.

They give you somewhere to put the colour.

Deep blues, turquoise water, green hills, purple lupins, crimson pōhutukawa ... New Zealand isn’t exactly short of a good palette!

And you don’t have to change the sofa, repaint the room or embark on a full-blown renovation to bring more colour into it.

Sometimes one piece on the wall does plenty.

Take Me To The River has been getting a lot of love lately.
It may have even surpassed Whale Bay.

It was our most popular artwork during the Spring Sale, and we can see why.

There’s something about the geometry, the earthy tones, the winding water and that little glimpse into the landscape that seems to work in all sorts of homes.

We always have our own favourites around here, but it’s interesting watching which pieces you lot keep coming back to.

There’s quite a bit that happens between choosing your print online and hanging it on your wall.

Our art prints are produced using archival pigment inks on Epson Enhanced Matte 230gsm paper, with framed prints finished here in New Zealand and in Melbourne for our Australian customers.

Then there’s the checking, wrapping and packing before it heads out the door to its new home.

We’re fairly fussy about all of it and can proudly say we've never had a print returned for a refund due to quality issues!

Because after Steve has spent all that time creating the artwork, we want the finished piece you receive to do it justice.

I have a habit of walking to the far end of a beach just to see what the rocks are doing.

The layers, cracks and curves can be as interesting as the view everyone came for. Sometimes they tell a story that’s been taking shape for millions of years.

That fascination became Rock Formations, my new collection of New Zealand landscapes. If you’re someone who stops to look at the rocky headland while everyone else is heading back to the car, this one’s for you!
