MODI Moments - we’ve been busy busy little bees!

Clay Verdant, in the details.

Every piece in this home was chosen to belong to it. Custom Modi furniture, designed around the way the space is lived in, layered with pieces from our showroom to bring warmth, texture and a little personality to each room. We couldn’t be happier with how these spaces came together 🤎

Swipe through for a closer look at the pieces that make it feel like home.

The art of the tasteful tassel.

Trends come and go, but the good ones are all about how you use them. Tassels are having a moment again, and done right, they add warmth, movement and a little bit of personality without tipping into “costume.” The trick? One hero moment, not five - let the tassel be the detail, not the whole scheme.

Here’s some recent pins of tassels & fringe that we can’t get enough of 📌

The team popped up to Auckland for the NKBA Awards - great excuse to w**e, dine & get dressed up 🫶🏼

CLAY VERDANT | New Build, Full Design

A whole home project for a client who wanted one thing above all, simplicity done properly.

Brick ties the whole home together end to end, stone brings quiet drama to a restrained palette, and every space was considered down to the last detail - right through to an ensuite built for slowing down.

Calm, considered, built to last. We’re pretty proud of this one.

MYTH vs MODI - part 2

Round two of the myths we hear all the time. This time we’re tackling small room = small furniture (spoiler alert, no), what a designer actually does, and whether our job really is just shopping all day 👀

Inspiration is everywhere - you just have to know where to look 👀

We’ve been pinning our hearts out, finding complementary colour pairings that tickle our brains. The right palette doesn’t just decorate a space, it makes it feel intentional - calmer, bolder, or completely unexpected 🍒🤍
