Happy 69th birthday 🎂

Aside from being booked by one of our repeat clients, this event felt extra special because we got to witness a beautiful surprise for a couple celebrating 35 years of marriage. 🤍

We had barely 24 hours to prepare for this rush booking, but seeing the couple walk into the room, realize what was happening, and celebrate surrounded by the people they love made all the rush worth it.

As live painters, we’re usually focused on creating portraits and making sure every guest gets their artwork. But every now and then, we get to witness moments that remind us why we love being part of celebrations like these.

Thank you to our repeat client for trusting KL Arts & Crafts once again and for letting us be part of such a meaningful celebration. 🤍

The road to this event wasn’t an easy one, especially with the unpredictable weather. But despite the challenges, we’re thankful we made it safely, showed up for our clients, and delivered as promised. 🤍

A little perspective from a live painter. 🎨

“Homework” in live painting can happen—but there’s always a reason behind it.

Clients, please understand the reality of creating 50–100+ artworks manually in just a few hours.

And fellow artists, please don’t promise what you know you can’t realistically deliver.

Set expectations. Communicate clearly. Know your limits.

At the end of the day, we’re all trying to create a good experience for the client and their guests. 🤍

Sharing this not to take sides, but simply as a live painter sharing what I’ve learned from experience.

Who said our souvenirs are just for the adult guests? 👀🎨

The little ones love watching us paint, too!
