Interior Design. Branding. Corporate Graphic Design. Video and 3D Animation. UI/UX Design. We were four for one. And now we are 441 for all. How?

It started with the love for design. Since love is not enough, we put in the extra hours to perfect our skills, we walked the extra mile into understanding our clients, we befriended our own insecurities, we never settled for something we didn’t believe in or stand for. You aren’t born a powerhouse. You become one. You turn yourself into one. No shortcuts, just short-circuits: you rewire yourself into better versions of yourself through every project, you find the right people to accompany you in this process and you do the best every time you get a chance. When the espresso machine moves from the back wall to the front, something else changes: the relationship between the barista and the guest.

Coffee preparation becomes part of the experience, rather than something happening behind the scenes.

Where the machine sits decides where the barista looks.

Real spaces offer water, heat, constant use, cleaning and time.

A material doesn’t only need to belong to the concept. It needs to do its job and continue doing it long after the photographs are taken.

More feedback doesn’t necessarily make a project better. Less feedback doesn’t necessarily make it faster.

What matters is whether the feedback leads somewhere.

When comments are connected to the brief, consolidated and followed by clear decisions, feedback moves the work forward.

When they aren’t, another round becomes just another round.

Electra & Ziva. Two brands under one roof in Rădăuți.

Upstairs, a place to rest after exploring Bucovina. Downstairs, a restaurant with its own rhythm and reason to visit.

Each has its own name, symbol and voice. Shared colours and typography keep them connected, as you move from a quiet morning to a busy dinner.

Amânarea unei decizii poate părea prudentă. Dar într-un proiect de design, timpul nu stă pe loc.

O aprobare întârziată poate afecta comenzile, disponibilitatea furnizorilor, programul echipelor și etapele care depind de ea.

Asta nu înseamnă că orice decizie trebuie grăbită. Uneori lipsesc informații importante și e corect să aștepți.

Dar există și o responsabilitate de partea celui care conduce procesul: să ofere context, să reducă opțiunile irelevante și să explice consecințele fiecărei direcții.

Un proces bun nu pune pur și simplu alegerile pe masă. Face decizia mai clară.

Nu orice decizie trebuie luată repede. Dar fiecare trebuie luată la timp.

For Slow Coffee Festival, we made a newspaper.

DESIGN MATTERS had a new edition every day of the festival, handed out in person. Something to read between coffees, and an easy way to start a conversation.

Over the weekend, we caught up with clients, former clients and familiar faces we hadn’t seen in a while. We met new people and had the kind of conversations that rarely fit into a meeting.

Anca Dumitrescu also joined Amine Moukdi from La Marzocco for the Q&A following The Rise of Espresso, moderated by Mihai Morar.
