90% of people don’t even realise this is a door. 🚪

Watch it again. That seamless fluted feature wall in the living room? It’s entirely “fake”. The room entrance completely vanishes into the panelling, no frames, no handles, just pure architectural wizardry.

This is exactly how you make a Singapore condo feel twice the size.

Beyond the hidden door, we balanced a risky design choice: bespoke lilac cabinetry against rich walnut and heavy marble. The result? Pure sophistication.

✨ High-Floor Luxury Meets Mindful Minimalism: Irwell Hill Residences

What happens when you bring raw, organic textures into a high-floor District 9 luxury condo? You get a sanctuary that feels instantly quiet the moment the private lift doors open. 🛋️✨

For this young family at Irwell Hill Residences (River Valley), we bypassed the flashy "showroom" look for a sophisticated Wabi-Sabi aesthetic with a practical Japandi sensibility.

Design Highlights:
🌿 The Foyer: A deep, smoked-timber portal with a floating custom oak console that welcomes you home.
🌿 Living & Dining: Raw microcement-look walls, vertical fluted panels, and a sweeping sculptural timber pendant light.
🌿 The Surprise Corner: A dry kitchen pantry featuring a unique, muted dusty-lilac cabinetry that adds warmth without disrupting the calm palette.
🌿 The Master Suite: A cantilevered cream-leather bed frame that appears to float effortlessly over rich walnut flooring, complete with a reeded-glass dressing nook.

The secret to keeping this minimalist family home clutter-free? Disguising massive storage capacity within flush, handle-free floor-to-ceiling joinery. 🤫

Stop letting your entryway look like a shoe warehouse. 🛑 Look at this instead.

Most SG homes treat the front door as a transition space. We turned it into the showpiece.

Handleless push-to-open carpentry (bye, clutter 👋)

Microcement walls paired with warm walnut tones

Floating cabinets with hidden ambient lighting

This isn’t just a shoe cabinet. It’s a whole mood.

🏠 [Project Reveal] A Quiet Japandi Sanctuary at 8A Upper Boon Keng Road ✨

Can a compact, older 3-room HDB flat actually feel like a spacious, boutique retreat? Step inside our latest transformation, where Scandinavian warmth meets Japanese restraint.

Instead of cramming the compact footprint with heavy furniture, we focused on a philosophy of "less, but warmer." We protected the empty space, integrated floor-to-ceiling carpentry that disappears into the walls, and hid the everyday clutter in plain sight.

👇 Clever space-saving ideas to save for your own flat:
The Open Spine: We kept the living and dining areas completely connected, using a low-height oatmeal island to softly divide the kitchen without blocking a single drop of natural light.

The 2-in-1 Flexible Room: A minimalist home office built on a custom raised platform, with a full-size guest bed that smoothly slides out from underneath it when needed.

Two-Tone Kitchen Calm: Handle-free cabinetry pairing rich teak tones with creamy matte-white to keep a narrow galley footprint feeling bright and airy.

Spa-Like Bathrooms: Swapping standard tiles for textured travertine tones, fluted timber, and soft backlit mirrors for a luxury hotel finish.

They said HDBs can’t look like boutique hotels. We’ve renovated 10,000+ homes that prove them wrong. 👋

If you’re tired of basic HDB layouts, here are 3 design rules we used to create this warm Japandi sanctuary:
1️⃣ Backlit mirrors instead of harsh ceiling downlights.
2️⃣ Kitkat + Terrazzo tile combos (texture beats flat paint every time).
3️⃣ A statement kitchen island in muted olive to anchor the room.

You just reclaimed 100 sqft of your HDB without moving a single wall. 👀

Swipe to Slide 7. That is not an empty space. It’s a custom pull-out bed hiding completely underneath it. Floor space lost? ZERO. 🤯

Most homeowners think they have to choose between a home office or a guest room. This layout proves you can have both.

How we doubled the space (Japandi Edition):
• Slide 2: Walnut dining table doubles as a workstation.
• Slide 5: Kitchen island flows into the living area (no wasted corridors).
• Slide 6: Floor-to-ceiling wardrobe disguised the entry to bathroom.

This is the master bedroom EVERY Singapore homeowner is saving right now 📌

Swipe to see why ➡️
The brief was simple: “Make it feel like a boutique hotel, but I still need to hide my entire wardrobe, TV, and dressing table.”

Our move?
→ One full textured-black feature wall (it’s not paint — guess the material 👀)
→ Soft cloud headboard with backlit cove (no more reading lamps clashing with the aesthetic)
→ Arched walnut entry that makes the room feel 2x bigger
→ Hidden TV + hidden dresser + hidden EVERYTHING behind one seamless wall
