In Tuscany, we composed the garden through the rhythm of cypresses, soft planting and quiet reflections.

An invitation to pause, feel the light change and find a place of your own.

Each garden has its own language. 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀: 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘂𝘀.

Through layers of planting, filtered light and carefully composed details, we sought to create moments of intimacy. Places where guests could feel sheltered, slow down and find their own sense of belonging.

Nature’s sculptural language.

We took time to observe a banana blossom in decay, revealing its structure layer by layer.

Curling edges, deepening colours, changing textures. A quiet study of form, matter and time.

For a wellness centre in the Komodo Islands, we imagined architecture that settles quietly into the landscape.

These views explore its spa, where spaces for warmth and water open towards the calm lagoon. The building recedes among the trees, bringing nature into the experience of wellbeing.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗼𝗿𝘀, 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝘀𝗸𝘆.

For this VIP poolside setting, we selected furniture with the same care we would bring to a living room.

Generous seating, soft cushions, low tables and welcoming daybeds create places to gather, stretch out, or enjoy a quiet moment by the water.

A palette of warm neutrals and textured finishes brings the pieces together, in harmony with the surrounding landscape.

Our vision of outdoor living:
to feel at home, with room for the breeze.

What has always touched me in Bali
is the way culture lives through everyday life.

Through gestures, names, rituals, offerings,
and the quiet passing of traditions
from one generation to the next.

Even something as familiar as a name
can tell a story of family,
of birth order,
of belonging.

Perhaps this is what gives Bali
that sense of depth I have always felt:
traditions carried forward through daily life,
still breathing in the present.

𝗔 𝗚𝗔𝗥𝗗𝗘𝗡, 𝗜𝗡 𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘

Not every garden begins in the ground.

Sometimes, a handful of petals and an empty plate are enough to awaken the imagination.

I enjoy these small, spontaneous moments of composition. Playing with colour, form and space, then allowing each petal to find its own place.

For a moment, the plate becomes a landscape. Fragile, joyful and temporary.

A reminder that creativity often begins with almost nothing, only the freedom to play.

𝗥𝗘𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗧𝗢 𝗔 𝗚𝗔𝗥𝗗𝗘𝗡

One of the moments I value most is returning, years later, to a garden I once imagined.

I notice how the trees have grown, how the plants have found their place, how the shadows have deepened. Slowly, the garden has settled into its own rhythm.

I have always loved Mediterranean gardens at the end of summer. The heat still held in the stone, the softer light, and the scents that seem to become more intense with every step.

Perhaps this is what I love most about gardens. We begin them, but time completes them.

𝗟𝗜𝗩𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗪𝗜𝗧𝗛 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗩𝗜𝗘𝗪

The first studies explored how the retreat could settle quietly into the hills of Komodo.

These new watercolours move closer, revealing the sleeping cabins and the experience within them.

Light structures, open views and shaded terraces allow each space to remain connected to the sea, the wind and the surrounding landscape.

𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗘𝗦 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗘

Some places reveal their character through time.

Weathered timber, faded red, stone, craftsmanship and carefully shaped vegetation come together in layers, each carrying traces of age, use and memory.

What draws our attention is not only the architecture, but the relationship between material, nature and time. How a place evolves, how imperfections become part of its identity, and how beauty can emerge without being designed to look new.

For us, observing what already exists is often the first step before imagining what comes next.
