INDEED… SUMMER ISN’T OVER YET. 🏖️☀️🌊

Yes, I was at the beach a couple of weeks ago.
And YES… I’m still posting about it. 😂🏖️

And you know what? I’m not done.

Going to the beach was one of the best decisions I could have made for myself.

Sometimes you don’t realize how much you need a break until you finally step away from the everyday routine—the work, the responsibilities, the emails, the phone calls, the constant go, go, go.

I needed to get away.

I needed the ocean. 🌊
I needed to hear the waves.
I needed a different view.
I needed to simply BE.

As an entrepreneur, learning to step away has been one of the hardest things for me. There’s always something that needs to be done. But I had to remind myself:

The work will still be there. Your well-being deserves a place on the calendar too.

And let me tell you something… 😂

I WILL be going back to that beach. Oh, you better believe it! 🏖️😂

Summer isn’t over, and I plan on enjoying every little bit of it that I can.

So if you’re at the beach, heading to the shore, sitting by the pool, taking a road trip, or simply enjoying a quiet summer evening—ENJOY IT.

Put the phone down for a minute.
Feel the sun. ☀️
Listen to the water. 🌊
Laugh a little louder.
Take the picture.
Eat the ice cream. 🍦
Make the memory.

Because the emails can wait.

FIRST THINGS FIRST… FLOWERS ARE MY THERAPY. 🌸

Happy Wednesday, beautiful people! 🌺

For me, flowers have always been more than something beautiful to look at. Flowers are therapy. They are art. They are how I express myself.

Whether I’m designing for a wedding, creating florals for an event, preparing a special arrangement, or making an order that just came through Uber Eats or DoorDash—every single bouquet gets a piece of me.

I take my time.

I look at the colors.
The movement.
The texture.
The personality of each flower.

Nothing is simply thrown together. Every arrangement is created to be unique, intentional, and authentically me.

Because flowers speak without saying a word. 💐

Two flowers I absolutely love working with are calla lilies and orchids.

🤍 Calla lilies symbolize beauty, elegance, purity, and new beginnings. There’s something about their clean, sculptural shape that feels effortlessly sophisticated.

🌺 Orchids represent love, beauty, strength, luxury, and refinement. They’re delicate in appearance but incredibly powerful—which is one of the reasons I’m constantly drawn to them.

And when you hire me for your wedding or special event, I want to know more than your color palette.

I want to hear your story.

How did you meet?
What do you love?
What feeling do you want your guests to experience when they walk into the room?

I listen to the little details because those details are what allow me to take your story and translate it into flowers. ❤️

That is what being a florist means to me.

It’s not simply a job.

It’s an art form.

There is passion behind it. Creativity behind it. Emotion behind it. And there is an incredible amount of love behind every stem I touch.

I breathe flowers.
I live flowers.
I dream in flowers. 🌸

And somewhere between choosing the first stem and placing that final flower, the outside world becomes quiet.

THE TRUTH IS… IF PEOPLE KNEW YOUR WHOLE STORY, THEY’D UNDERSTAND. ❤️

They’d understand how powerful it is that you still smile.

They’d understand why you protect your peace. Why you love so deeply. Why you’re passionate about what you do. And why, no matter what life puts in front of you, you still get up every single day and keep going.

Because the truth is, we all have chapters nobody sees.

Days when putting on a brave face takes everything you have. Days when things feel impossible. Days when you question the plan, the timing, the people around you—and even yourself.

But somehow, you shake it off.

You get up. You show up. You keep thriving.

And you know what I’ve learned?

You don’t owe everyone an explanation for how you survived the chapters they never witnessed.

I’ve had difficult days. I’ve faced health challenges, personal challenges, disappointments, unexpected changes, and moments that tested me in ways I never imagined.

But I’m still here.

And today, I’m incredibly grateful and humbled by all of it.

Every lesson helped me grow.
Every setback taught me something.
Every closed door made me look for another one.
Every difficult season helped me understand exactly who I am, what I value, and what I want out of this life.

I learned to fight the good fight without losing the softness in my heart. ❤️

Adulthood teaches you quickly that life isn’t always fair, easy, or predictable.

But life does give us choices.

You can stay where you are, or you can decide that something needs to change.

You can allow a difficult chapter to define your entire story, or you can turn the page.

So if nobody has told you lately:

Keep going.

Keep believing in yourself.
Keep protecting your peace.
Keep chasing what makes you feel alive.
Keep being kind.
Keep laughing.

Keep dreaming.

And when life knocks you down?

THE PROMISE I MADE TO MYSELF… 🌺

No matter what happens in life, I will continue to be a florist.

That is the promise I made to myself.

My dream will stay alive. 🌸 It doesn’t matter who believes in me, who doesn’t understand my vision, who stays, or who walks away.

I believe in myself.

I’m an entrepreneur. I know my worth. I value my time. And I’ve learned that you don’t have to chase what is truly meant for you.

The right people.
The right clients.
The right friendships.
The right opportunities.
The right love.
At the right time. ✨

I’m choosing positive energy. I’m choosing kindness. I’m choosing to love myself enough to keep going after the life I envision.

Believe in your goals—even when they’re taking longer than expected.

Love yourself.

If you find good, healthy love, cherish it and fight for it. ❤️

And above everything else, be kind to humans. You never know what someone is carrying behind their smile. A little kindness costs nothing, but it can mean everything.

And to my Blossom Delight community, I also want to say thank you. 🌺

As the school year begins and I transition into new hours and a different schedule, please be patient with me. I haven’t forgotten about you! 😂💐 I’m simply finding the right balance between the shop, my clients, my floral work, and something that holds a very special place in my heart—my seniors.

Blossom Delight was created in memory of my late father, who lived with Alzheimer’s and dementia. ❤️

Every time I walk into a senior community with buckets of flowers in my hands, there is a part of me that thinks about him.

Those classes are bigger than flowers to me.

I get to sit with beautiful people who have lived incredible lives. We laugh. We create. We talk. And for that hour, flowers have a way of bringing everyone together. 🌷

Our seniors have so much wisdom, so many stories, and so much love left to give. If my flowers can bring even one smile to someone’s face, then I know there is purpose behind what I’m doing.

So yes, the hours may change.
The seasons may change.
People may change.
Business will have its ups and downs.

But the dream? The dream stays. 🌺

I’m still here.
Still creating.
Still believing.
Still choosing kindness.
Still betting on myself.
And most importantly…

Still blooming.

WHEN WILL IT BE MY TURN? ⏳🌸

Have you ever asked yourself that?

You watch other people reach their goals, celebrate milestones, grow their businesses, find opportunities, and step into new chapters… and quietly you wonder, “When will it be my turn?”

Here’s what I’m learning: trust the timing of your life.

Stop comparing your journey to someone else’s. Someone may be blooming while you’re still planting. 🌱 Someone may be celebrating while you’re rebuilding. That doesn’t mean you’re behind.

Your journey is yours.

Life comes with ups and downs, unexpected turns, trials, disappointments, beautiful moments, and lessons you never saw coming.

But keep your eyes forward.

Stay positive. Stay optimistic. Remember who you are. Keep pressing. Keep showing up. Keep moving forward.

Sometimes what feels like a delay is preparation. Sometimes a closed door is redirection. And sometimes the season when you think nothing is happening is the season when your roots are growing the deepest.

🌺 Flowers don’t compare themselves to the bloom beside them. They simply bloom when their season comes.

So the next time you find yourself asking, “When will it be my turn?”

Happy Friday 🌺✨

This week has been a reminder that entrepreneurship isn’t always flowers, pretty arrangements, and beautiful moments. Sometimes it’s sitting down, handling the business side of business, making difficult decisions, protecting what you’ve built, and still finding the strength to keep moving forward. 💪🏾

Yesterday, I picked up The Little Book of Resilience — and clearly, the timing was perfect. 📖

One thing about me: I will always remain resilient.

My father always taught me that when people try to assassinate your character, remain strong. Don’t allow someone else’s actions to change who you are. Your character, your work, and the way you carry yourself will eventually speak louder than anything said about you.

So today, I’m sitting here grateful. Grateful for the lessons. Grateful for growth. Grateful for my business. And especially grateful for my village. ❤️

Entrepreneurship will test you, but sometimes those tests are exactly what push you into your next chapter.
