Rockwood Furniture Co. is growing, and we're looking for a talented, motivated Furniture Sales & Interior Design Consultant to join our team!
We're not your typical furniture store. At Rockwood, we specialize in creating a personalized, custom furniture buying experience that helps our customers turn their houses into homes.
We're looking for someone who has a passion for interior design, an eye for beautiful spaces, and the personality and drive to turn great customer relationships into successful sales.
This is a sales position with a strong interior design focus. The ideal candidate loves helping people create beautiful homes, enjoys working with customers, and is motivated to achieve sales goals.
What You'll Do
1. Welcome customers into our showroom and provide an exceptional, 2. personalized shopping experience.
3. Help customers design beautiful, functional living spaces through furniture selection, color coordination, fabrics, finishes, and accessories.
4. Provide interior design guidance and creative solutions tailored to each customer's style, needs, and budget.
5. Build lasting customer relationships that lead to repeat business and referrals.
6. Present and sell high-quality, customizable furniture and home furnishings.
7. Create room layouts, furniture arrangements, and design presentations when needed.
8. Manage customer projects from the initial consultation through ordering and delivery.
9. Follow up with customers, manage leads, and consistently work toward individual sales goals.
10. Collaborate with other team members to deliver Rockwood's signature white glove customer experience.
11. Stay current on furniture styles, interior design trends, and product knowledge.
What We're Looking For
Our ideal candidate is both creative and sales-driven.
1. A genuine passion for interior design, home furnishings, and helping people create beautiful spaces.
2. Previous experience in furniture sales, interior design, home furnishings, or a related field preferred.
3. Strong sales skills and a desire to achieve and exceed sales goals.
4. Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
5. A natural eye for color, style, proportion, and space planning.
6. Self-motivated, organized, dependable, and detail-oriented.
7. Comfortable working with computers, design software, and customer management systems.
8. Willingness to learn, grow, and take ownership of the customer experience.
9. Interior design education or experience is a plus, but not required for the right candidate.
