For those of you who are new here, I’m also an RN. I spent 12 years working bedside before taking the biggest leap of my life and leaving nursing to do flowers full time.

And somehow…I just celebrated ONE YEAR. 👏🏻🥹

I genuinely don’t know how I used to work as an RN AND do flowers. 🤭😂

This past year has taught me so much. I’ve built a business I’m incredibly proud of, but more than anything, I’ve gotten something back that I didn’t realize I was missing so badly—time.

Time with my babies.
Time with my husband.
Time at home.
Time to actually enjoy the life we’ve built.

I’m so appreciative of this softer way of living. 🤍

And the fact that all of YOU trusting me with your flowers is what made this life possible for me and my family?

I’ll never take that lightly. 🥹🌸

One whole year of choosing the scary, less predictable path…and I’d choose it all over again. 👏🏻 I never want to go back, so here’s to year two 💐🎉🎊

I’ve always wanted to keep this process personal, and even as Lavender Haven grows, I never want to lose that. Every bouquet is still being handled by me—from the moment it arrives, to pressing, reconstructing, color correcting, designing + framing.

So if you haven’t heard from me recently, your flowers are most likely just peacefully sitting in their press doing their thing. 😂🌸

In a culture that tells you to “live” before having kids, my only regret is that I didn’t become a mom sooner.
My body didn’t tolerate pregnancy well and I wish we could’ve had more babies. But I truly feel like I hit the jackpot with the two we have. 🤍
For me, motherhood gave my life a deeper purpose. It unlocked strengths I never knew I had, gave me superpowers I didn’t know were possible, and showed me a version of myself I’m so grateful to know.
