Speaking out loud what you love about someone is a great habit to make! In this family, we’re not short on words and we’re even known to shed a few tears, but we know what we mean to each other and that’s a priceless thing. Words make relationships and relationships make a life. Do you do this birthday tradition in your family?

We had such a fun time shopping at some of our favorite spots and finding some new ones on our recent weekend in Atlanta! So many of you are like me and like to have a list of great recommendations for shopping and coffee shops and restaurants so I thought I’d share these recent faves with you! They are all within close range of each other and would make a perfect shopping day itinerary! Have you been to any of these? Which is your favorite?

Olaria - we found several cute pieces here! stocked up on mugs for the beach condos!
The Modernist Design Collective - beautifully curated mid mod pieces and vintage treasures!
The Wayfair Store Atlanta - a huge and fun Wayfair shopping experience
Ballard Designs Atlanta - has been a favorite of mine for years and I still have several pieces in my house I’ve found in the stores in the past! So beautiful.
Westside Market - a fun place to stroll beautifully curated stalls
Mend Coffee & Goods -such a serene and beautiful gathering place for coffee and pastries!
Le Bon Nosh - we had coffee and pastries here! Deliciously French experience!
Flower Child - a fun and vibrant healthy lunch spot that is so delicious!

Have you been to the Swan House at the Atlanta History Center? It is a great site to add to your itinerary if you are a home and garden lover like I am! This was such a beautiful spot and we loved the grounds as well. It was so interesting to learn more about Ruby Ross Wood, the famous interior decorator. Also the Swan Coach House is the perfect place for tea or lunch and is a short walk away!

What can I say, this girl is pretty observant! 😂 The sweetest part for me is that my kids still ask me to do these little projects for them from time to time This little painting has been on my list of to-do’s for a little while and it was a fun one to do while I dream of being back at the beach! Thanks abby o. ryan phillips for letting your mom be a part of your design style!
