Sorry, we’re unavailable. We’re busy getting lost in Round Top. 😉

There are some places you visit for inspiration, and then there is Round Top.

For us, it is completely immersive. We want to walk every field, dig through every booth, notice every finish, study every piece, and leave with our heads full of ideas.

We are not just looking for what is beautiful today. We are looking for the pieces that stop us in our tracks. The unexpected chair. The beautifully aged table. The piece of art we cannot stop thinking about. The detail that sparks an entirely new direction for a future project.

Round Top is where we get to slow down enough to really look.
And yes, we fully intend to be the people who say, “Wait, go back. What was that?”

We’ll see you there this fall. 🤎

If you are dreaming about a home filled with collected, one-of-a-kind pieces that feel personal rather than predictable, schedule a discovery call with us through sloanhollace.com.

A room can have beautiful bones. But the details are what make you stop and look twice.

For us, good design lives in the relationship between the two.

The room is the foundation: the architecture, layout, scale, palette, and overall feeling.

Then come the details. The edge of a countertop. The finish of a cabinet. The way a fabric meets a trim. The placement of a light. The piece of art that makes the whole room feel a little more unexpected.

We love the big picture. But we are probably even more obsessed with everything happening within it.

That is where a space starts to feel considered, collected, and completely its own.

There is a lot happening behind the scenes that never makes it to Instagram.

We’re sourcing, reviewing samples, walking job sites, making decisions, solving problems, revisiting details, and talking through the little things that ultimately make a space feel effortless.

We are deeply involved in every project, every decision, and every detail. That hands-on approach is intentional. We believe the best interiors come from being fully present throughout the process, not just showing up for the pretty part.

The details matter and you do too.

Signed,

Allann + V

What do we bring to the table?

Unmatched pattern recognition.
Superhuman attention to detail.
Refreshing whimsy.
Really, really good taste.
And coffee. Lots of coffee.

But beyond the obvious, we bring two very different strengths to the same table. Allann brings the design eye and creative instinct. Victoria brings the systems, strategy, and operational brain that keeps everything moving.

Somehow, it works beautifully.

We never want a home to feel like it could exist anywhere.

We see this quite often with builder grade homes. The foundation may be beautiful, but our clients want to bring in more warmth, character, and personality so the home feels distinctly theirs.

That might mean rethinking wall treatments, upgrading lighting, introducing warmer woods and finishes, or adding layers of texture that make the space feel more collected.

And because these are homes meant to be lived in, we are always thinking beyond how something looks. Cozy, beautiful upholstery in performance fabrics that can stand up to kids, pets, and everyday life is just as important as the finish on the wall.

A remodel gives us the opportunity to transform what is already there and add those intentional details. New construction allows us to think through them from the very beginning.

The two are different, but the goal is the same: a home that feels warm, personal, elevated, and completely connected to the people who live there.

For us, that is one of the most rewarding parts of design: taking a starting point and creating a home that could only belong to that particular family.

There are a million talented interior designers in Austin. And honestly, we think that’s a great thing.

So why do our clients choose to work with us?

Because we have built Sloan Hollace Interiors around the parts of the process that matter just as much as the design itself.

We are deeply collaborative with our clients. We design for real life and think about how a home will actually function, not just how it will photograph. We are obsessive about organization and believe no detail is too small to matter.

And then there is our procurement process.

The way we purchase, organize, track, and ultimately fill a home is something we have developed very intentionally. It is a system we are incredibly proud of, and one we have yet to see done quite like it elsewhere.

Our clients should never have to wonder, “What happens next?”

We are already thinking about it.

There is a system behind the beautiful rooms. A plan behind the sourcing. A process behind every installation. And someone on our side keeping track of all the details so our clients can enjoy watching their home come together.

That combination of design, livability, collaboration, procurement, and operations is what makes Sloan Hollace Interiors different.

The pretty part is important. But so is everything that makes getting there feel seamless.

If you are looking for an Austin or Hill Country interior designer who will take care of the big picture and every little detail in between, we would love to talk. Schedule a discovery call with us through sloanhollace.com.

You finally sit down after a long day and then remember there is ONE more thing that needs to go on the to-do list.

Because apparently relaxing is not on the agenda. 😂

If you know, you know. We may be exhausted, but there is always one more detail to consider, one more sample to review, one more thing to add to the list.

Type A? Absolutely.
Passionate about the details? Also absolutely.

That is the job. And honestly, we wouldn’t have it any other way.

September always makes us look at color a little differently.

We find so much design inspiration in the world around us this time of year. The warm ochres of dried grasses, the muted greens that start to deepen, the richness of the earth, and those unexpected touches of rust, clay, and brown that suddenly feel just right.

When we are designing a home, we rarely start with a single paint chip or a perfectly curated inspiration image. We look outside. We pay attention to what naturally works together. We notice the colors, textures, and materials that already exist in the landscape and bring those ideas indoors.

For us, fall is a reminder that some of the most beautiful palettes are already right in front of us.

What colors are inspiring you this season?

If you are dreaming about a home that feels layered, collected, and connected to its surroundings, we would love to hear about your project. Schedule a discovery call with us through our website, link in bio.

“Don’t get so busy making a living that you forget to make a life.” — Dolly Parton

A pretty good reminder, especially when you live somewhere like this.

There are trails to wander, waterways to get lost on, little Hill Country towns to explore, and plenty of places to sit outside and realize you probably should have left your laptop at home.

We love what we do. But we also really love making a life here in the Austin area. 🤍
