We’re hiring at WPS Paint & Decorating Center.

We’re looking for a reliable, friendly paint store clerk to join our family-owned business that’s been serving the community for over 40 years. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with customers, learning products, and being part of an established local business.

In addition to counter and store responsibilities, there is opportunity to earn more by taking on light sales rep–style tasks, such as building relationships with contractors and helping grow accounts. Those added responsibilities come with commission potential, so motivated candidates can increase their income over time.

Paint or retail experience is a plus, but we’re happy to train the right person who has a good attitude and strong people skills.

As a small local business we are excited to welcome 7 Brew Coffee Abingdon, MD to the neighborhood and are happy to see them doing so well! We are having some customers call saying they are having some issues getting to Wps Paint & Decorating Center. We suggest, to make your visit easier, customers traveling from the north may want to stay on Route 24, turn left onto Singer Road, and then make a left onto Route 924 (Emmorton Road). This route helps avoid most of the current traffic buildup and provides a smoother drive to our store.
