A little look back at our Christmas home tour from last year! There’s just something so special about making our home warm and cozy for Christmas. I can’t wait to start decorating this year.
(This years will look a lot different on the front porch❤️)

Have you started decorating for Christmas yet, or are you waiting until after Thanksgiving?

The final stain and clear coat are finished. Our backs and shoulders don’t like us right now, but I love it!!!

Finishing the steps and the porch will be done❤️

We added the trim pieces to our porch posts, and I just love how everything is coming together. It’s almost finished, and I can’t wait to sit out here and enjoy it!

What do y’all think of the transformation so far?

I just love when the afternoon sunshine comes pouring through our windows. There’s something about the warmth of the sunshine filling our home that makes me slow down for a moment and thank God for all the blessings I sometimes take for granted.

“This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” — Psalm 118:24

Does anyone else have a favorite spot in their home where the afternoon sunshine just makes everything feel extra cozy?

I absolutely LOVE our new steps!!!
Every little update makes me more excited to see our front porch completely finished! It’s coming together, one project at a time!

Caleb Update:

PRAISE REPORT!!!

Caleb had a follow-up with his neurologist Tuesday to go over his EEG results, and everything looked good.

He is still having some small episodes, but his seizure medication is helping. His neurologist encouraged him to keep track of the episodes and what might be triggering them. Thank you for your continued prayers
God is good, and we give Him all the glory!!!

“The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart celebrates, and I give thanks to him with my song.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭28‬:‭7‬

🍂🏡 BEFORE & AFTER! 🤍

Our front porch is getting a little farmhouse makeover, and I am LOVING how it’s turning out! 🤍

We’re not quite finished yet, but oh my goodness, what a difference! It’s so exciting watching our vision come to life, one project at a time. ❤️

Still a few finishing touches to go, but I’m already dreaming of sitting out here with a cup of coffee and enjoying God’s beautiful creation. ☕🍁

What do y’all think of the transformation so far? 🏡🤍

I took the brown paper up so that the porch could dry off. It needs the final coat of paint and polyurethane on the floor and some trim around the posts. Mitch designed the underpinning and the rails, I love it❤️

“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his faithful love endures forever.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭107‬:‭1‬ ‭
