I am going to ramble (:

The gym was very busy at 1 and then died off to nothing this afternoon. Must be because of football? BTW, not having cable this time of year sucks because all that is on is football 🤮 oops, IA and IA state game today?

The young lady who works at the gym told me I have a great haircut, SO, what did I do? I went and got it cut shorter. 😆

Alecia, the cool chick who cuts my hair, went and saw Chris Brown at Soldier Field last month. She loves him. She couldn't figure out why there was this annoying big box by her seat.

She used it as storage and peeked around it to see the concert. She was ticked UNTIL Chris was flown over to THIS box and sang right above her. 😆 🤣

I just love these cuttings in arrangements. They are stiff, whimsical, and have beautiful little white flowers with green balloon puffs. 💚

This is a full sun afternoon and evening spot to show you how that stringy stonecrop sedum fills in areas. I have to remove a spot to plant things there now.

It also is nice because you have little to no weeds to remove. It has overtaken a few invasive flowers i had like evening primrose.

I have to clear it out if I have something I want to plant there.

I really don't like this native coneflower SO I am cutting it back and digging it up for the lady I do egg trades with. The heads can be fed to her chickens per googling?

I don't care for this as a cut flower. It gets very tall and needs staked up. It also gets powdery mildew but even earlier than other flowers. It does propogate in water very well from early summer cuttings though so that is nice.
