New community support initiative

I'm not sure if I know anyone who's life has not been affected or impacted by cancer, either directly or indirectly. Maybe not a topic we want to discuss, but it's a reality. So, why not help in whatever way we can?!? Since we're a yarn shop, we will knit and crochet! We will be a collection location for Knitted Knockers and have adopted the UW Health Cancer Center at ProHealth Care Mukwonago to supply knitted (and crocheted) knockers to. We are also working with the Sherman Center in Elmbrook Memorial Hospital to collect hats, prayer shawls, and lap blankets for patients going through chemotherapy there.
We have a curated list of free patterns available for multiple yarns and weights. We also have the yarn list and patterns required for Knitted (or crocheted) Knockers. See staff for details.
