Designed for a couple relocating to Florida, this residence was conceived from the start as a serene retreat, capturing the ease of Florida living with the refinement of a five-star hotel suite. A calming, warm and neutral palette layered with natural textures, and quiet notes of blue and green that mirror the Florida coastline.
Our clients arrived with artwork that had moved with them often and had never had a permanent home, so where each piece would live was considered early on. We set out to find the right place for what mattered to them, then designed the home around the way they wanted to live.
The primary suite was approached as a fully integrated retreat, with discreet desk areas throughout the residence so a laptop can open without disrupting the rooms around it. The main office takes on a moodier, more masculine character, and converts to a guest suite when family visits.
Their artwork finally has a permanent home. So do they.
