Florida living, without the clichés.

For us, designing for the coast is less about obvious references and more about responding to the environment - lighter textures, natural materials, an easy palette and spaces that feel sophisticated, timeless and entirely at home here

Designed for a couple relocating to Florida, this residence was conceived from the start as a serene retreat, capturing the ease of Florida living with the refinement of a five-star hotel suite. A calming, warm and neutral palette layered with natural textures, and quiet notes of blue and green that mirror the Florida coastline.

Our clients arrived with artwork that had moved with them often and had never had a permanent home, so where each piece would live was considered early on. We set out to find the right place for what mattered to them, then designed the home around the way they wanted to live.

The primary suite was approached as a fully integrated retreat, with discreet desk areas throughout the residence so a laptop can open without disrupting the rooms around it. The main office takes on a moodier, more masculine character, and converts to a guest suite when family visits.

Their artwork finally has a permanent home. So do they.

A beautiful finished space is the result of hundreds of decisions you’ll probably never notice.

From the big-picture vision to the quarter-inch details, every choice is considered, coordinated and refined along the way.

And yes, approximately 900 questions.

Making it all look effortless is part of the job.

This Florida room was designed as an acoustically rich sanctuary for concert listening - a true homage to the homeowner’s musical passions. Curved Roche Bobois Official seating enhances the listening arc around a high fidelity sound system, while framed vintage concert tickets from the homeowner’s childhood create a deeply personal focal point layered into the architecture of the space. Overhead, a sculptural Editions Serge Mouille® fixture adds both historical presence and intimacy to the room.

A space designed not simply for entertaining, but for ritual, memory, and sound.

Jumping on the “Kinda Chic” trend, designer edition.

Close seconds that didn’t make the cut: serious conversations about grout, moving something two inches and being right, strong opinions about switch plates, seeing the finished room before there are walls, and spending 20 minutes on a ¼-inch detail.

Turns out, loving what you do is kinda chic, too.

It’s easy to focus on the finished project. But we find ourselves appreciating everything that happens in between just as much.

A few weeks can completely change a space. Seeing that progress take shape, one site visit at a time, never gets old.

There is something special about designing a child’s room.

It should spark imagination today while feeling timeless enough to evolve alongside them. Every detail in this space was chosen to create a room that feels warm, joyful, and quietly magical without ever sacrificing longevity.

Just a glimpse inside one of the sweetest spaces in this newly completed project.
