I know a lot of you slept on this pair of footstools with the 1980s blue commercial-grade upholstery, because let’s be honest—they were pretty hideous as is!
I do smaller upholstery projects (if you need someone for a couch tho, I gotta guy), so Maryjane Hall asked me to make these fun, whimsical and fabulous. So with some of the last toile I have left from Paris, we jumped in.
I get that some might look at the pink and think “shhhh!t, they were better blue!” But that’s the beauty of getting stuff done to your liking. You can get what YOU love…and if you don’t yet know what you love, I encourage to find out what really turns your crank. There were a million different ways these could have been finished, and all the answers were correct!

UPHOLSTERY PROJECTS! While I’m waiting for the wingback to come back, I decided to jump in on a couple of other projects. Next up are a pair of Eastlake parlor chairs that are probably going to get some claret-colored mohair on them so that they can look wonderful for the next 130 years not quite sure what to do about the foot stools yet, but let me know if you have any ideas.
