FOUND objects as art has always been something we’ve incorporated into our interiors. Even our most traditional clients come around to the idea especially when it’s something they themselves have collected on a trip or an adventure.

This tumbleweed was found in Chicago during the winter rolling down a city street. An antique dealer ran after it. She quickly sold to another antique/art dealer who placed it in her home over her fireplace. I saw it and begged for her to sell it to me as I felt it was perfect for the minimal interiors of this lake side Pied-a’-Terre.

RUSTIC COTTAGE KITCHEN years ago when we opened our second office and added a shop to our offerings, we needed staff to have a chic space to live during our first year out East. A charming cottage presented itself and we jumped to a simple renovation without removing any of the original charm.

The kitchen, in particular was uniquely renovated using old wood found on the property for the cabinets and floors. Bold white paint and groovy ceramics and furnishings from the shop gave the term “original” a whole new meaning.
