Then I may have found the perfect piece of art for your house.

An original 15-mile-per-hour speed limit sign.

Mudroom. Hallway. Basement.
Wherever they enter the house at full speed.

Will it work? Probably not.

But at least you can say you posted the speed limit.

Some treasures are meant to stay with us. Others are ready for their next story.

These vintage Chicago-area street signs are pieces I’ve collected because they connect to a city that has been part of my life for decades. Now, a few are ready for a new home.

Think basement bar, game room, garage, hallway, rooftop, or even a kid’s entrance where a 15 MPH speed limit might be the perfect reminder. 😉
