Alright y’all… before you watch this video, just know it was recorded after I was outside watering my dead flowers… Apparently even with all of the rain we’ve had, I’ve still managed to kill most of the flowers. But hey, they’re still beautiful sticks.

Also, this video has me wondering why iPhone doesn’t come with Snapchat filters, because it absolutely should. Instead, y’all are getting the full filter-free face and what can only be described as llama hair from the humidity, so please excuse both.

On a serious note—thank you all so much for helping Wildflowers and Whatnots hit (and far exceed) 500 followers. That kind of support means the world to me. I’m beyond grateful, and this little giveaway is just my way of saying thank you.

One thing I’ve always wanted Wildflowers and Whatnots to be is a place where everyone feels welcome, seen, and accepted — and that’s exactly why I’m so proud to have Different Brains, Same Hearts in the shop.

Written by local author, nurse, and proud mama Jasmine Mason, this sweet book reminds us that our differences are not flaws… they’re part of what makes us special.

It’s a beautiful story about children who each have their own unique ways of thinking and experiencing the world, while showing that every heart matters the same.

Books with messages like this matter. They teach kindness, understanding, and acceptance — and I’m honored to have Jasmine’s work here at Wildflowers and Whatnots.

500+ Followers… and a Heart Full of Gratitude

When I started Wildflowers and Whatnots, I had a dream, a laser, and a whole lot of hope.

Over the past year, you’ve watched this little idea grow from creating items at home to opening the doors of a brick-and-mortar shop yesterday. Along the way, you’ve liked posts, shared my work, cheered me on, shopped small, told your friends about us, and encouraged me more than you’ll ever know.

Today, our page has reached 500+ followers, and while that number may seem small to some, it means the world to me. What makes it even more special is that many of you aren’t family or lifelong friends—you found Wildflowers and Whatnots, chose to follow along, and became part of this journey.
