Imperial CoPacaWoo is in the Studio, my fiber blending friends! They took cotton (cool, breathable, plant-based overachiever), added alpaca (luxuriously soft, thermoregulating diva), and invited wool (the elastic, memory-holding responsible one) to the party. Why? Because cotton alone has no bounce. Alpaca alone has no memory. Wool alone can feel… well… woolly. But together? You get balance, structure, softness, and drape. That’s what you call fiber alchemy. Copacawoo is a 6-ply lace weight. That means six fine strands are spun together to create strength without bulk. Lace weight yarns are typically light, airy, and delicate — but because this one is plied, it has integrity. Work each color individually as a Lace Weight or by holding 3 strands together (Trio) it becomes a sport weight yarn. The possibilities are endless and the colors are so beautiful! Here are a few swatches knitted up with three strands together.
