Last week we had not one, but TWO presentations, and we could not be more excited about both projects! 🙌🏼

Here are a few initial mood boards from one of the presentations—our clients who are ready to start Phase 2 with us! They were extremely trusting and open the first go-round, so we’re pushing the envelope just a little bit more this time with a curved Kagan sofa and some vintage pieces.

For images from the first phase, head to our website and look for the project “Brick Manor.”

When you want to make the gorgeous Emerald Quartzite count, you extend it in to a banjo countertop and make it extra thick.

You might also notice that there’s a bit of a geometric theme in the angular, faceted marble; the brass mosaic floor; the mirror; the light fixture; and the crystal sconces—which increases the enjoyment geometrically. 📐

Three decor categories you can never have enough of as far as I’m concerned:

1. Plants and flowers
2. Vintage bowls or ashtrays
3. Pretty cocktail table books that make you look smart but you’ve never read

I’d really like to get the back story for this whole Morris & Co. wallpaper scene. I mean, it all makes sense and then boom!—let’s add a lion in there. Therefore, the client and I lovingly called this one Narnia: a land filled with lush grassy hills, magical adventures (dinner parties), and … talking lions.

Is it me, or is this sunroom serving Vitamin D vibes? ☀️☀️☀️

Looking to add some zip to your home?

Nothing is more transformative than paint, and it’s a DIY that can be done as often as you’d like without wreaking havoc on your wallet. And although the exterior of everyone’s front doors are always the main discussion, I challenge you to look at the interior!

This house is full of color at every turn, and the front door was another easy way to add a splash without making a huge commitment. And come spring, it could easily become ochre, salmon, or a pale sage green, all while still fitting seamlessly in to its surroundings. The possibilities are endless, and it’s a great way to change things up without needing to hire a professional. Or if you don’t have the time and you do want to hire someone, it’s a quick job that won’t break the bank.

What color are you thinking about painting the interior of your front door? 🚪🎨
