Hot off the press! 🔥🔥🔥

This one has been close to my heart since day one. Bachelor Dad is a whole home designed for a client who collects with intention, entertains without apology, and lives with so much personality it practically designs itself.

From the Bearbrick gallery in the family room to the floor-to-ceiling powder bath and the skateboard decks mounted as a full art installation in the stairwell, every inch of this home is him. Our job was just to give it space to shine.

Seeing it land in the pages of and is a moment I want to sit in for a minute. I am so proud of this project, this client, and this team.

Happy birthday to Dana! 🎉🎂💖

Twenty years of refusing to play it safe. Of saying yes to the wild color, the unexpected texture, the idea that makes everyone else nervous until it's finished and suddenly it's genius.

She's the one who loves Jettie to the moon and back. Who texts about cars like other people text about coffee. Who built this studio on the principle that design should feel like living, not like following a rulebook.

She's taught us that confidence isn't loud. It's quiet and unshakeable. That a room needs soul before it needs anything else. That the best ideas come when you're willing to look crazy for a minute. And that the people you work with matter more than the projects you land.

Dana Bass Designs is a premier Dallas-based luxury residential interior design firm known for bold color, layered texture, and spaces that feel as personal as they are refined. We’re looking for an accomplished designer who thrives in a high-performance environment and delivers flawless results for a sophisticated clientele.

The role spans the full scope of luxury residential projects, from construction and remodels to furnishings and outdoor living. You’ll collaborate directly with the Principal and Design team, manage sourcing and logistics, oversee construction progress, and partner with trades and workrooms from concept to completion.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture, with proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp. Strong communication, exceptional organizational skills, and a proven track record on high-end projects are a must. Experience with Google Suite and Houzz Pro is a plus.
