Timeless doesn’t exist.

Even when we’re trying to create something
“timeless,” we’re still influenced by the trends, tastes, and fashions of our own era. The trends we consider classic today will look distinctly 2026, just like they did in the 70s, 90s, and yes...2003.

And that’s okay.

I’d much rather design a home for you that reflects who you are and what you love than one designed around the impossible goal of never looking dated.

Because the homes that age the best anyways aren’t the ones that tried the hardest to be “timeless.” They’re the ones that had personality in the first place.

Design your home for yourself. Not for some imaginary person living in your house 20 years from now.

September, you were a busy one ✌️

A few new projects headed into construction, we wrapped concept design on a new one we’re very excited about, made a quick trip to Vancouver to see some newly released furniture, and spent lots (and lots) of time making selections for projects underway.

Somewhere in between, a few long time projects started looking a whole lot more like the drawings we’ve been staring at for months and we could be more excited!

I cannot believe we’re already into October. Lots still to come before we close out 2026 ✨

You didn’t hear it from us, but not every transformation needs to start with a total gut 🤫

For this kitchen, the existing layout worked, the flooring worked, the cabinetry worked…so rather than replacing things simply for the sake of replacing them, we took a more surgical approach. We kept what made sense and focused our investment on the details that would completely change how the space felt.

We painted the existing cabinetry, introduced new countertops, and worked with one of our favorite tile sources to create a custom backsplash inspired by a vintage carnival. The variation in size and handcrafted quality gave us exactly the slightly nostalgic and collected feel we wanted.

In the adjoining breakfast nook, new built-ins and custom window treatments help carry that story throughout the rest of the space. The result feels completely different without pretending like everything that came before needed to go.

Sometimes the best design isn’t knowing what to change. It’s knowing what’s worth keeping.

This sweet bathroom was once a dark and dated guest bath that felt cramped and had no counter space.

Fortunately the overall layout of this bathroom didn’t need much rework so a finish refresh and a new vanity gave this space a new lease on life! 💕

You’ll definitely want to swipe for the before 😉

Getting close to the finish line on this primary bath!

One of our favorite parts of a project is watching all of the little details we’ve spent months drawing, selecting and coordinating finally come together on site. The arched shower glass, warm brass, handmade tile and stone penny rounds are making this one feel especially good.

Just few finishing touches left (like our clients original clawfoot tub we’re restoring!), and then I can’t wait to share the completed space. 🛁

Deep in the purchasing phase of a project means our team is dotting “I’s” and crossing “T’s” to make sure every piece comes out just as we envisioned it with our clients.

Very soon, this mood board will become a room, and we can’t wait to show you the final result! ✨
