Designing flowers in a unique setting is one of my favorite things. It stretches me to look differently at my designs and is an opportunity to bring flowers to spaces I’ve never been before.

Like this elopement style shoot on the dock at the Chicago Yacht Club.
had a vision for this day and I loved the opportunity to design flowers amidst the sailboats and city skyline.
We kept the palette mostly neutral with touches of sky blue for a bit of romance and elegance, without taking away from the view and setting.

What do I mean when I say my floral style and designs are “garden-inspired”?

I believe that flowers look their best when they are allowed to move naturally, arranged in an unstructured way. Similar to how you would find them growing in a garden.

I have a deep admiration for nature and am inspired by gardens. Especially the gardens that are cultivated with every bloom and prune being intentional.

This is what I desire to reflect in my floral designs. Each flower is placed with purpose… to highlight what makes it beautiful.
Whether that is the curve of a stem creating movement and depth in an arrangement.
Or the subtle flecks of color within a petal to enhance other shades and tones.

Not forced.
Not overly composed.
But absolutely intentional, artistic, and natural.

I am guided by the seasons and inspired by the way beauty exists in so many ways around us.

In the small, quiet ways. And in the loud, extravagant ways. In the way that something feels.

And when I design, it guides everything.

Yes it’s refined, feminine work—
with a whole lot of mess, muscle, and unexpected moments.

There are so many moments in this work that no one ever sees…

Like that time a lizard was running around the delivery van for the entire two hour drive 🦎

It’s all a part of the process that allows your wedding day to feel effortless, even when it isn’t all that effortless on my end 😆

You can absolutely ask for a quote, but here’s a better way to begin the conversation with a wedding florist.

Instead of a list of items, try this:

“I’m planning a wedding in [season/date] at [venue] for [number] guests. My budget is around [$$$-$$$$] and I want it to feel [x, y, z].
What would you recommend to create the most impact?”

Because you’re not just hiring someone to make arrangements, you are inviting an artist into one of the most meaningful days of your life.
Someone who is creative and understands seasonality, movement, and how to make a space feel full, refined, and reflect you.

When you approach it this way, everything shifts.

It’s completely okay to have a wishlist.
But the most memorable weddings are never copies.

The bridal bouquet is a hand held piece of art pulling together your personality, aesthetics, and wedding color story. It’s more than just flowers—it will join you through every meaningful moment of the day from walking down the aisle to accenting the photos captured as husband and wife.

A bridal bouquet can be designed in so many styles and colors. It can be the classic neutral and white, it can bring in touches of a color, or be bold and filled with color. It can be lush and garden-inspired, or modern and sculptural.
