A Little Update From Our Mueller Family ❤️

We wanted to share some news with our customers and friends.

Carrie will be having an unexpected and fairly extensive knee surgery on November 2nd. She has suffered a meniscus root tear, which requires a much more involved repair and recovery than many people associate with typical meniscus surgery.

The surgeon will have to drill into her shinbone to reattach the torn meniscus root, and then allow time for that repair to heal securely to the bone. She will be unable to put weight on that leg for at least six weeks, followed by a gradual recovery and rehabilitation process that could take several months.

Needless to say, she’s nervous, and we’re all hoping for a successful surgery and a smooth recovery!

As many of you know, we’re a small family business with a small staff, and Carrie is a huge part of our day-to-day operations. We’re hoping she’ll feel up to coming in occasionally to help with paperwork and things she can do while seated (she has the wheelchair, walker, and crushes ready!), but we’ll be taking that day by day and following her doctor’s recommendations.

With Carrie’s surgery and a family trip that I planned well before we knew about any of this, we’ve made the unusual decision to close for a few days.

Mueller Furniture & Mattress will be closed November 5th–9th, reopening Tuesday, November 10th at 9:00 AM.

We don’t close often, but sometimes life throws us a curveball, and we have to make a few adjustments. Family & Health HAS to come first.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate the coming weeks with a smaller crew. Most importantly, please keep Carrie in your thoughts and prayers as she prepares for surgery.

Thank you for supporting our family business! ❤️

November Hours:
3rd & 4th- 9:00-5:00
Closed 5th, 6th, 7th
Return to normal hours on November 10th @ 9:00.
I will be checking my phone, email, FB, and our websites messages while I’m away.

The easiest way to make your home feel like fall without redecorating the whole thing? 🍂

Style your coffee table for the season. A few small pumpkins, a candle or two, some dried leaves or stems. It takes ten minutes and completely changes the energy of the room.

The coffee table is the most visible surface in your living room. Make it work for the season. 🍁
